Easy to apply and super sticky, this has saved our couch from our cat’s claws. She loves to scratch the side of the couch that’s right next to a dozen scratchers but now she slides right off with these stickers.

This product is a roll of plastic material that sticks to furniture surfaces and can be removed without any residue. It is thick enough to protect surfaces from cat scratches. Appearance is clear. Easy to use. Functions as described. Well worth the cost!

This scratch protector is great! It sticks to furniture very easily and holds firm, but at the same time it is possible to peel it away and it doesn't leave any residue. I honestly don't understand how both of those things are possible at the same time, but they are! It's very thick and the cats don't bother it. It's easy to put on and slightly forgiving if you start to put it on crooked and need to adjust. My only issue is that it is not very wide (just under a foot tall) so if you have a large area to cover like the side of a couch, you have to either only cover a part of it, or use multiple strips and have a seam going down the middle. Neither one is the end of the world, but it is something to think about!

Very easy to apply and while my cats are still scratching, they are not harming the fabric on my chairs

I have never ordered any other furniture protector so I have nothing to compare this specific product to, but I really like how thick this protector is. I used it on my pleather ottoman. My cats seem to really like to scratch pleather. This is very, very sticky so it sticks well. Keep in mind that it's plastic so if you don't like the look of plastic on your furniture, this is not for you lol. It does its job well. But yes, my ottoman is now shiny. One thing I did notice is that I stuck it on a small part that my cats had already scratched a little, but it wasn't completely torn up. I removed it to reposition it and it actually "ripped" the already scratched area a little bit more. But when I repositioned it, the "ripped" part was kind of held together again by the sticky plastic. My cats don't scratch any of my furniture except for my pleather ottoman so this worked well for me. Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this obviously, but I feel like it's a good product.

We have tried several different types of cat scratch protectors. This one appealed to us because of the large size and the extra thickness of the tape. Unfortunately, the adhesive is a bit too weak and does not stick well to the fabric of our furniture. Every piece we have put on the furniture has eventually found its way on the floor within a couple days... We have not seen one piece last even a full week yet. Unfortunately, this product does not stick very well to furniture.

Sheets easily stick to furniture and remain firmly in place, and with no residue if they need replaced. While they don’t act as a deterrent, the material is thick enough that scratches don’t penetrate. In addition, I applied these to my adjustable bed frame (plush fabric my cats seem attracted to) and they’ve held up just as well.Sheets are just under a foot tall, so for the sides of furniture you’ll need to apply based off the dimensions and adjust as needed. If you measure wrong, no need to worry because they’re easy to remove and don’t lose grip strength. This is my first time using a product like this, and I’ve been very impressed. My only regret is not getting them sooner.

Interesting alternative to cat tape. For reference cat tape is a double sided tape to be applied on surfaces to discourage cats from either clawing or getting on them. This product takes an alternative approach - it has a single side with adhesive and is simply a tough plastic that can be applied over things (typically fabrics) to make it unsatisfying for cats to use for claw sharpening. The difference? This product will discourage claw sharpening but will not be good for preventing pets from getting onto things (think like a fireplace mantel where cats love to push things off while prancing around). As can be seen in the listing this product is provided in roll format. It comes with a roll of transparent plastic, a squeegee and a measuring tape. To use simply measure whatever it's to be applied to, cut, peel the backing and apply. From what I can tell it sticks pretty well and cats certainly don't seem to mess with it.I'd suggest as part of an overall defensive strategy an alternate source for the cats to satisfy their 'claw sharpening' instinct should be supplied. As far as this product, so far so good.
