Öffnet wann er soll, kann auch mal über Nacht wegbleiben da sich eine Abend- und eine Morgenfütterzeit programmieren lässt. Der Kühlakku ist ein bisschen unpraktisch platziert da das Futter in Napf 2 erst wieder gekühlt wird wenn Napf 1 gedreht hat aber das scheint meine Katze nicht zu stören.

Maurice here, the elder statesman of the house. I like my meals on time, without fuss, and preferably before those two hooligans, Claude and Hygge, come tearing through like a hurricane. Thankfully, with two of these brilliant machines, my refined dining experience remains undisturbed.Now, Claude and Hygge? They don’t take food as seriously as they should. They bolt, chase each other, knock things over, and then return later for their rations. Thankfully, the C500 doesn’t mind their erratic ways—it just sits there, like a trusty jail warden, serving up meals whether they remember to show up or not.The humans call it “prison” when they leave us for a few days, but to be honest, it’s hardly hard time when you’ve got five hidden food compartments per machine, a digital timer that ensures precision feeding, and even ice packs to keep things fresh (though I’d much prefer it kept things warm—but alas, no justice in the feline penal system).After four days of “solitary confinement” (as the humans dramatically put it), they return, expecting cuddles and no resentment. Well, maybe I’ll let them off easy—after all, this machine kept us fed and in top condition while they were off gallivanting.Verdict?Claude and Hygge say: “A lifesaver for two scatterbrained cats who forget to eat.”Maurice says: “A well-oiled machine that ensures dining order is maintained. I approve.”Five stars. Now, where’s my next meal?

I love these feeders! I have two, plus an extra four cold packs. I can set up the next day's breakfast before bed and they'll get breakfast on time even if I sleep late. The same works for their dinner, which they can eat on time even when I'm gone for an evening meeting. My cats tend to hide when a stranger is in the house. With these feeders, my pet sitter can come in, clean and fill the feeders, and leave. The cats can then feel comfortable coming out of hiding at meal time. If you plan to use them, use them all the time. That way the cats learn to expect the compartments to open on schedule.They are easily programmable to fit your schedule. 5 compartments mean you can leave one empty and have up to 4 meals ready to be delivered at appointed times. The removable feeding trays and cold packs are easy to clean, tough plastic. They are powered by 3 ordinary AA batteries, so you don't have to worry about a power outage while you are gone. Mine have been running for 14 months on the first set. Get an extra set of cold packs so one set can be in the freezer while the other set is in use.I think they make another model with 3 compartments for those who only want to load 2 meals at a time.Even when I was home, my cats used to wake me up at 6 AM on a Saturday morning to feed them. Now they'll let me sleep. What a blessing!

My cat wakes us up at 5am crying for food each morning so I bought this feeder. It works very well. I love that it’s a digital clock instead of an analog timer that is reset each time. I feed my cat Kirkland pate and the tin cans are moldable to fit straight into the slots to contain the mess. The only downside is the battery dies pretty fast. It uses 3 AA batteries and lasted less than a month before needing to replace. I’ve had my dry food pet feeder for over a year and still have not replaced the batteries. Overall it’s easy to set up and clean and worth buying if you have a cat on a set feeding schedule.

Je l’utilise depuis 3 semaines quotidiennement pour donner un traitement médical mélangé à de la nourriture toutes les 4 heures à un gros chien. Facile à programmer, à nettoyer, pour le moment il fait son taff, mon chien a ses médicaments même quand je suis absente. L’appareil grince un peu quand le compartiment tourne et mon chien a vite assimilé ce bruit à de la nourriture. Le compartiment est suffisamment grand pour qu’il puisse lécher la compote que j’utilise comme camoufle-médocs et l’appareil est suffisamment lourd et stable pour que le chien ne le bouge pas quand il lèche énergiquement. Mon chien a bien essayé au départ de trouver un moyen d’atteindre la nourriture à coup de crocs mais le coté rond et lisse ne lui a pas permis de trouver une prise. Pour le moment, je n’ai pas eu à changer les piles. Même si c’est un peu cher pour ce que c’est, je ne regrette pas un instant cet achat qui a joué un rôle essentiel dans la nette amélioration de la santé de mon chien.

This is great. I only need it for a day now and then.It's battery operated so if the power goes, my cat gets fed.It has cool pads so I can leave wet good in there.The basins are wide enough for comfort I think, and they're easy to clean.Practically it only conceals 4 meals- but that's all I need.Many of the fancier ones were huge or gimmicky- this is simple, low profile and resistant to my HassleCat.The only thing is that the cold packs have started to buckle a bit. We'll see how long they last.Very happy with it overall

I really like this product. This product is amazingly well-made, well-designed, and easy to clean.. It’s easy to fill, easy to program and has a great variability. I tried the ice packs for a day, and it kept my food, cool, and fresh for the dogs. I also got the addition of the stainless silver inserts, and would highly recommend them. They are individual stainless steel inserts, and it makes it much easier to fill, rearrange in the holder, and clean.It did not take my dogs long to learn to use it, or what the turning sound meant.When you have multiple meals in the container, they can smell them, and my dogs were very curious about trying to get into the other meals. My dogs are small. If you have large dogs, they might be able to break in.My only CAUTION is, this may not be good for multiple dogs. I have two litter mates. They get along very well. However, this caused them to exhibit food aggression. The primary problem is no matter how you set the clocks, the units do NOT open at the same time. That made my larger of the two siblings be able to get to one unit, eat the food, and then go guard the other unit until it opened 15 seconds later. So, the smaller of the two dogs didn’t get food. (I was very careful, and had both units programming at the same time; hitting the buttons on both units at the same time, to make sure they were synced.) After resetting it multiple times, I had to give up. If your animals occupy separate rooms when you’re gone, you would be fine.So, despite the fact that I couldn’t use them for my dogs, if you have one dog, or if you have 2 dogs that are not particularly food motivated, they would probably work fine for you.

This product met all my requirements; easy to use, easy to clean and reliable for feedings of wet food at set intervals. I have a small dog with digestive issues and she requires small feedings of wet prescription dog food several times during the overnight. It has not failed to deliver during the 2 months that I have been using. The ice packs are a necessity when trying to keep the food fresh in the compartments and they stay cold for many hours. I like how easy it is to fill at night and clean up the next morning with the plastic tray where the food is kept. She has not been able to get into the covered compartments with the one piece lid and has not been able to cover it up with her crate fleece when her stomach is telling her food is a bad thing because of it's size. I do have a large sized crate and there is enough room for our 8 lb dog to lie down comfortably and for this unit to sit in the corner. This close setup also lets her know when the next compartment is being rotated so she can eat. It does make a small noise when rotating and may wake some people if used during the night in the same room. I have learned that the batteries can jar lose if for instance, it drops off of the top of the crate, where I keep it during the day. However setting it up again is simple. 5 compartments are available (1 immediate feed and 4 timed feedings.) I do not have a dog which chews and those who do may have to weigh whether their small dog would chew up the plastic lid trying to get at the food in the compartments. My dog sniffs earnestly for a few minutes trying to get at the food when I first put it in the crate and then lets it go. This feeder has saved my sanity in that I no longer have to set alarms to get up to feed her during the night. Great product at a great price. I hope the longevity of the rotating mechanism is equally as good.
