Before first use, fill the teapot with clean water up to 70% of its capacity, then boil it for 5-10 minutes, pouring away the water after boiling. Repeat the produce for 2-3 times until the water is clear.

After using it for 5-6 times the inside finish started to pealing off so it became unusable. Poor quality product and no way to get warranty claim working because of the looping system setup by the seller.There is no way to claim warranty on the chat bot.

Perfect size teapot for one person. I have not tried the loose leaf insert but boils water well, doesn’t get a weird taste upon boiling, and looks exactly as the picture describes. Came with a tea towel, a lid lifter and a loose leaf infuser

While I LOVE the pot itself the jute that's light glued and wrapped around the metal handle comes loose, quickly when used 2 times a day, after about a month.The handle, of course, gets hot since it's also metal so I will have to find a solution or use a mitt everytime.The pot itself is heavy, sturdy, holds heat well and works perfectly on my induction burner.The handle thing is an inconvenience unless it slips while you are holding the pot. So use a bit of extra caution when lifting the pot with hot water in it.Immediately after my review went live the seller contacted me through Amazon communications and apologized for the inconvenience and worked quickly to resolve the issue.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it! It heats up quickly and though not intended to, it does keep the tea warm for an extended period of time. It is smaller as many of the reviews indicated but it’s well worth the cost and built beautifully.

I love this little tea pot. It's not too heavy, even though it's cast iron with a ceramic lining, and it's easy to lift and pour. It keeps the tea hot for quite a while so I can actually drink two cups instead of just one. Very pretty in my kitchen too!

This pot is perfect! The inside is coated so it won’t rust. It doesn’t take a lot of space on the stove top. It keeps tea hot longer and it has great capacity. Just make sure you don’t put it directly on your countertops as it gets really hot! It comes with a cute cloth to use as a heat barrier. My only issue is the metal strainer has started to come apart on one side.. easy replaceable.
