I use this to brew a large mug of coffee (to drink hot). The holes are just right for coarse ground coffee - about french roast size - but clean-up is so much easier.

This is the second kinto that I have purchased. They are very nice, but a pinch fragile. I purchased an off-brand one previously, and I did not like it as well. I like the built-in strainer. It makes for easy cleaning. I would recommend hand washing over dishwashering. The size is perfect for a travel mug, or you can receive into a larger craft.

I love the build quality. It's been a month, and it looks exquisite and worth every dollar spent on this.

The leaves have full space to grow and dance. The filter works very nicely. And the size is perfect for one to two persons. I don't know if it works fine on stove, but I usually use it on candle which is fine. I am a tea freak, trust me. This is ALMOST the best.

I ordered the larger size of this Kinto tea pot. I love it far more than I imagined I would - it is beautiful and sleek in design. It’s easy to clean, simple to use and I do not experience any dripping after I pour a glass. I may have gotten lucky or idk but that isn’t an issue for me with this pot. Glass handle on the pot stays cool and is nice for pouring. Highly recommend!

I ordered this in February and I’ve used it about every other week for tea or to mix cocktails. This is such a cute tea pot, I have been so in love with it. Unfortunately, it did not last very long before cracking. I expected a longer lasting product for this price. I love the design and the look, but I can’t even use it now :(

This is an under-rated product, in my opinion. To begin with, there are only about a dozen teapots on Amazon with this design. And the design itself is my favorite for tea. I've been making tea several times a day for 30 years, with the aim to have a great tasting loose leaf pot, while minimizing my workload. This has lasted my family a long time now. I have the Rishi teapot mugs as well, for comparison. And I have the both the small and large version of this teapot. I use these little teapots every single day, without exception, sometimes several times a day. They are sturdy and have not broken. The filter keeps all tea from escaping even the finer Irish breakfast types. The lid sometimes pops out while pouring, so I would hold it down with a finger as you allow the liquid to fully decant. But the lid is simpler and easier to clean compared to the rishi meshes. And the design looks simpler. Tea leaves always get caught at the spout, which is my least favorite feature. But then I just turn the lid a bit to find some open mesh; the mesh spans the entire circumference of the lid, which is extremely useful. Having a wide lid is also useful and efficient for dumping the tea. After using the tea leaves, I fill the pot with cool tap water and dump it into my garden. Great for all the plants. So far as looks, it's not bad. For beauty the fully glass teapots are prettiest, in my opinion. But they are not as practical for the rugged every day use in my family; two or more brews a day per person. this pot also doubles as a wonderful collection vessel for my V60 coffee pour-overs. The rounded bowl on the bottom is very pretty to show off tea and coffee.

This beautiful Japan design teapot has the strainer cleverly built into the lid; we use it for turmeric tea. After a few months of daily use the inside gets stained. No problem, easily remove the rubber gasket and put the pot and lid in the dishwasher. It comes out like new. We have a smaller tea cozy from India that keeps the teapot hot. The ability of the tea leaves to freely mix around with the hot water is visually appealing and makes for a better cup than with a tea infuser.
