I absolutely love this thermostat. So easy to install and operate. Love the Wi-Fi and app feature. Can control temps anywhere. Beautifully molded and great quality. Very reasonably priced as well.

The squared look is an improvement over the Amazon Smart Thermostat rectangle supplied. A perfect fit!

I don’t get it!? We downloaded the app & followed instructions. The app did not have all the options we needed and we tried every option to troubleshoot suggested and still could not get it to work! My husband installed it & uninstalled this twice with no luck getting it to even show the temp. We purchased the C wire and we are pretty smart people & very familiar with technology. Just not compatible when our old one to convert🤷🏼♀️ sucks bc we’ve had it too long to return it so just out $100! Our house was built in 1970 but it had a upgraded programmable thermostat since it was built IDK?

So yeah. It took a while to install. Long story but bought this for my parents. Then dad died. Then we found out they didn’t have a control wire. Then the HVAC guy didn’t want to hook it up for us because he was just there to do basic maintenance.Their old thermostat ran on batteries and didn’t automatically heat and cool within a range so they were regularly switching it back and forth and raising/lowering the temp.So it sat until yesterday when I decided to just figure it out for myself. Was done in 2 hours. It should not have taken that long but me and 220v circuits do not get along. That time was mostly me inside the HVAC figuring out how to read the transformer to find where the 24vac wires went.Took me the longest to figure out where to connect the control wire because their HVAC has no control board or obvious C wire connector. Enter YouTube, an multimeter, and electrical engineering 101 for me.Eventually, I was able to trace the step down transformer lines and figure out which was the constant 24vac hot vs return/neutral to complete the circuit. They changed colors on me due to however/whoever installed it.After figuring that out the setup was really simple and straightforward.
