Put this up to allow my cat easy access to spare bedroom (gate style is too tall to easily jump) but not my small dogs. I wanted something easy to take down for when my 83 yr old mother comes to visit. This is easy to assemble and remove. If it is properly tightened it's super sturdy and does NOT fall down even when knocked in to (see video reviews on how to secure properly). Neither me or my 65 yr old husband have any difficulty getting over this but my 2 chihuahuas can't get in. Great value for money!

Perfect lower gate for our 2 small Yorkies! Replaced our existing baby-gates and so glad we did. These are much easier for us humans to walk over the gate without tripping. The little access door is great too, allowing the gate to remain in place and give the dogs access to areas when supervised. Easy installation and stays in place perfectly! Bought 2 of these and am so thrilled with the quality and sturdiness of these gates.

Excellent quality pet gate! It is ready to use right out of the box or you can drill screws into door frame to further secure. Easy operation to set and secure and I had no issue at all with the little "door" it stays open just fine - on one side - on the other side the securing rod is present so door doesn't go all the way open (maybe that's what other folks were talking about in their reviews). Now it is so easy to step over , even my 7 year old granddaughter can easily navigate getting over the gate. Cat is happier with a lower jump to get over and the gate's spindles are close enough that our Pomeranian cannot get her head through them! Great product - even better price - fast shipping - a win/win/win!!!

I love this gate! I wanted something that was easy for me to step over, to keep my Corgi out of the bedroom as it’s a safe space for my cats when she’s being too wild. She is 21 pounds, and with her short legs cannot jump it. She can fit through the small cat gate, though. I wish that was made a bit smaller, however the cats can jump over the gate just fine. Otherwise this is perfect, the price affordable, and I have ordered another one for another section of the apartment.

Pros: Really robust, easily adjustable, do not mark door frames as padding is cleverly placed, exactly the right height to keep out a small dog, no problem at all for an adult cat to jump. Adore the little door that enables you to grant access at will.Cons: They stay in place so as the human of the house you’ll need to learn to pick up your feet stepping over the barrier! Once you’ve tripped over them a few times you’ll adjust.

We got a 6 week old puppy and would wonder into our bedroom (the only carpeted area in our apartment) and she would have accidents in there while we have been potty training her. We have a doorway that connects the kitchen to our bathroom and our bedroom also connect the the bathroom and these were perfect!. Originally had only ordered one, then my wife was convinced they were good and we needed another one. We have both installed in under 1 minute. The cats knew exactly where they needed to go through (I zip tied the little door open on top for the cats to use) puppy doesn't bother the gate or has come close to knocking it down or even a wobble. They are nice and snug in my 34" door way. As we need constant access to bathroom and bedroom, just a simple leg over the gate, yet tall enough to keep puppy out and cats can get in and out as the please. Works as intended!

Since we like the product so much, we have now ordered a third one so we can use them throughout our home. It is sturdy, very easy to install, and keeps our Chi safe when we can't be eyeballing him. The added bonus is the small hinged puppy/kitty door, which you can open optionally when your want to give your fur baby aded access without having to take the gate down. The pet door can be easily secured with a thumb lock. Also, the gate is low enough that you can easily step over it without tripping. Our only wish is that there was an even wider gate for wide hallway areas. Overall a 5-star product!

Bought this gate to keep our 2 terriers out of the cat box. This gate is small enough that it’s easy to step over and seems sturdy and well made. This works well for us because we don’t need to take it down more than once a week or so when we want to clean underneath the mats in the closet. It’s the perfect size for our cat to get over without letting the dogs through. Our girl dog still wanders in a few times a day hoping for a nice kitty litter snack but always comes back out disappointed by her inability to get to it. 😂

I recently got a new puppy and because we are potty training I don’t want her in my bedroom where there is carpet. I thought this gate would be perfect to keep her in and not having to worry about keeping the door closed. The theory of it is great! The height is great, it’s well made and I love that it has a pet door because my older dog is a small breed and he can fit through the pet door to go to bed without the puppy being able to get in. The only problem is the design. The cross bar has holes every 1/2 inch roughly. You have to align the pin with the hole to lock the gate in place. To get I snug fit in my doorway I really need to lock it in between the holes that are available. The hole that it goes into is to loose and the gate can be easily knocked over. The next hole is impossible to get to because it won’t expand enough no matter how hard I try to get to it in my doorway. I have figured out a way to manage it by putting one side on the door frame and one side on the bump out in the frame that the door sits up again when closed. I have to lock the gate into the size I plan to use and then squeeze it into place. This gate would be perfect if you didn’t have specific slots to choose from and could choose the tension you need instead. I haven’t found any other gates like this one so they have the marker cornered but their design could use some adjustments to be better accommodating.

So, I have an 8-month-old Pomeranian with an affinity for trying to steal things out of the cat's litter box, and I was going out of my mind trying to figure out how to keep him out of the box without simply locking my cats in their room. It felt cruel to them for a problem that he had, but it seemed equally cruel to have him live his life on a leash inside.Enter this gate, and all of my problems vanished. The gate is just high enough so that he can't jump over it (and believe me, he's tried) but my three cats can jump over it no problem. They rather enjoy having a safe place where they can eat and use the bathroom in peace. The pomeranian is less thrilled, but at least he gets to wander!Seriously, if you're having the same problem at all, give this a shot. It was one of the easiest set-ups ever, and it's so sturdy that not even a charging, driven pomeranian can knock it down.

Die Gitter gefallen mir sehr! Sie sind schnell auf- und abgebaut und sehr stabil. Wenn sich mal ein Hund darauf mit den Pfoten darauf stellt hält es immer noch fest, nichts ist gelockert. Man kann ideal darüber steigen.

This is the second one I've purchased, the first being a couple of weeks ago. I have two curious pugs who would be out the front door to investigate the world the first chance they got, and my dh isn't as careful as me when he answers the door, so I have installed one outside the front door as an extra security measure to stop them being able to get out. It works a treat and is small enough to step over but big enough they can't jump over, so it gives me peace of mind. This second one is for the back door as my heart is in my mouth when the back door is open as it slams shut if the wind catches it and I am terrified one of my babies are in the way - problem solved with this. Fantastic gate for the money plus there is a small gate within it for letting my pups go through without having to lift them. I have purchased at least six different types of gates and this is by far the best.
