Easy to install and works well to keep curious felines out of rooms, but peeling it off took half the paint off our wall too. Thank goodness we are planning to repaint anyway

The screen itself is very strong. The stitching on the sides that secure the screen to the zipper fell apart after two days. These are the areas that would need double the stitching or no matter how strong the screen itself is it will never hold.

Just put it up today and it seems very durable. Easy installation, the adhesive is strong and seems perfect for my, and the cats, use. Would definitely buy again.

Got this to keep our resident cat and new kitten separated and it worked very well. I didn't pay close enough attention to the dimensions and it was too big for our doorway, but we folded over the sides and made it work. We put it up using both the sticky edges and the nails and it held up relatively well, though there were a couple of small spots that started to pull up after maybe 2 months. The only real downside was that the kitten was constantly climbing it and jumping off from a decent height, so I'd keep that in mind if you have a climber.I've already recommended this product to several people in person and figured I'd also let the online folk know as well.

We took in a litter of kittens to foster and they were driving our poor older cat crazy. Our poor old girl was going between the office and the bedroom, and had to ask us to open and close doors for her all day, and still the kittens were in her face, climbing all over her. We put this screen up to keep the kittens out of the back half of the house. It was super-easy to install- I just laid the Velcro on the screen, start adhering to the door frame from the top down, peeling the backing off as I went, then put in a few tacks as reinforcement. The Bad: The biggest kitten worked out how to open the zipper in about two minutes, climbing up and pulling it open, so we have to zip it all the way closed to the top corner. The D-shape zipper keeps him from pulling it across the top. The D-shaped opening also makes it a little more awkward going in and out with armloads of laundry but I can live with that. The Good: Our old lady has her space back and she can still sit in the hallway and watch the kittens and touch noses with them through the screen without them climbing all over her. And even with five kittens climbing up and down the screen, it's stayed solid- no tears or rips. I wish they made a bigger French-door size that we could use for the sunroom!

I bought this screen door so I could bring a couple of barn cats into the house in the winter to patrol for mice in the kitchen, pantry, and laundry room at night. I installed it so the cats could not access the rest of the house. It turned out to be a great solution. It was easy to install. It seems to be very well made as it has now been tested by a couple of determined barn cats, whose ambition is to lounge on my sofa tearing up the upholstery. Thanks to this great product, I am confident my furniture is safe.

We currently have a few of these screens in our house while we integrate two adult cats with two 8 month kittens. The idea of the screen is that the cats can all see one another, exchange scents, hisses and growls, eat in front of each other, and then eventually live happily ever after.I like that this screen actually fits my doors. The doors in our house are quite tall and it's really important to have a screen that covers then entire door area with no gaps as kittens can and will climb the screen to get over the top if there's a gap.The screen is good quality and so far has withstood scratching, climbing, and chewing by the kittens. The functionality of the zipper is consistent, and it hasn't gotten stuck or come apart in the time we've used this screen. What I don't care for is there's only one zipper. It is double sided so you can zip/unzip from either side of the screen, but in order to open the screen enough to pass into the room, the entire bottom needs to be unzipped, leaving an open area that's the equivalent size of two 8 month old kittens. The number of times the kittens have successfully darted through the bottom of the screen while I'm trying to get in the room is outrageous. Like, I might just forego the screen over this one particular door because I'm far more successful at keeping them in the room by shaking a jar of treats at them. There also isn't a way to hold the screen open (unless I'm overlooking). So if you want to leave the screen open, you'll need to use a clip or something along those lines in order to do so. I'm using a chip clip and it's. . . adequate.I will also add that with any of these types of screens, go ahead and resign yourself to the fact you'll need to paint the door frame once removed. These screens require extra sticky velcro tape in order to hold the them in place, and to support the weight of the warrior kittens who scale them. Removing that tape usually peels up the paint, at least in my experience, but it's worth it if it means a house full of peaceful cats that all get along.
