This works great when you have small to medium scratches on the top clear coat. It takes a little time and work, but you can really make a difference. Anything down to the color is going to require a completely different approach though.

I tried a few home remedies to fix car scratches and this bottle worked a lot better than toothpaste. Applying the scratch remover is easy and does not hurt the arm in the process. I like that the solution covers the scratches leaving behind a smooth surface. I like that I can use it on every part of the car from the hood, headlights, doors, and the roof of the car. I like the shine that it leaves behind making my car look brand new. I also like that the price lets me buy several bottles so I can keep my car looking pretty.

Goes on well. Dries in an easy to wipe fashion. Get's out shallow to mild scratches but no stuff past the clear coat. Worked well on my front end.

I tried this car scratch remover on a bunch of light scratches on my very old car. I have tried to be careful over the years, but some scratches are inevitable. I was really pleased with how this product actually improved the scratches considerably. It was easy to use and I didn’t have to spend a ton of time and elbow grease to get noticeable results. If you’ve got serious, deep scratches, this isn’t going to be what you want, but for superficial blemishes that you want improved a lot, this Carfidant does the trick.

I usually use Meguiar's Scratch X for removing small scratches and swirls from mostly guitars. I have found this to be a very effective product, and I have used it for things from basic cleaning to finishing repairs. I got this Carfidant Scratch remover to compare, since I am running low on Meguiar's and was going to get more. I used this for the first time for a neck finish repair in which a few spots of poly had chipped loose, I had filled, scraped and sanded the area, and then I busted out this polish to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did this compound work very quickly, but the gloss I was able to achieve in a few seconds was better and quicker than using the Meguiar's I am so used to, and I just used a basic microfiber cloth. This bottle gives you a bigger size and is cheaper than Meguiar's. I am going to be using the Carfidant brand from now on, that's how much I like this stuff.
