1, How to Use-Quick Start With The Carbon Monoxide Detector YC302 Pro+

1). After connecting AC power supply. The alarm will have beep for one time, and the LED display will show four "eights" for 3 seconds.

2). Wait 30 seconds countdown for sensor preheating, during theprocess, green light will be steady on, red and yellow lights will flash.

3). Do not apply carbon monoxide gas (hereinafter referred to as "CO") to test during the warm-up process because the carbon monoxide gas will not be detected during the process.

4). Once warm up process finished, the detector is ready for carbon monoxide monitoring.

5). There are different outputs depend on gas concentration: whencarbon monoxide concentration>150ppm, sound and light alarm will be

2, How To Use Test Functionality

Method 1: Press the Test button. If the alarm sounds, it confirms the device is functioning correctly.

Method 2: To test with actual gas, release the gas through the bottom vent. As the gas rises and reaches the sensor, the alarm will activate.

5, What to Do in Case of Alarm

Your body will recover fast as long as you get enough fresh air after CO exposure.It's not irreversible damage. So what we need to do are below after exposure:

The CO alarm can only warn the presence of CO. It can't prevent CO from occurring, nor can it solve an existing CO problem. If you have been exposed to carbon monoxide, you should follow the emergency steps listed below:

1). Open doors and windows in the location to allow fresh air to enter the space and carbon monoxide to escape.

2). Go outdoors and get fresh air as quickly as possible to release thechemicals from your body.

3). Call 911 for emergency medical treatment.

4). Evacuate the location that you believe is the source of the carbon monoxide exposure.

5). Have a licensed professional examine the area you suspect is releas-ing carbon monoxide and make any necessary repairs.

Note: Never restart the source of a CO problem until it has been corrected. Never ignore the sound of the alarm.

I purchased this item a few months ago when moving into my new home that was powered by gas. I once grew up in a neighborhood where a family down the street died due to carbon monoxide poisoning and it gave me PTSD. I needed to replace the CO detector I had in my living/dining area next to my gas fireplace because it aged out (CO detectors have a specific performance life). I got this item because in addition to CO it senses natural gas, which is what my fireplace runs on, so if there was ever a leak, I would know before it got serious. I've had the detector now for almost 90 days, and it has performed as promised to alarm against CO and gas leaks. Great product at a good price.
