The set is easy to use and fairly easy to set up. Bits are easy to change out and the stop has etched depths on the side for reliable and accurate results. The carrying case is a nice touch as everything is labeled and fits in nicely. Great set for DIY woodworking that will deliver professional-looking results easily.

This is a well made and functional counter bit set, and while not quite on par with more well-established brands, it performs admirably and presents a solid value at the price point. The included storage case makes keep everything organized simple and the fit and finish is very good. Overall, a solid offering and good value.

The countersink is ready to adjust the depth of countersink. It gives nice clean edges on the drilled holes and is consistent with depth. No marks from the rotating part on the workpiece.5 stars, I will definitely pick up another when I wear this one out (which will take a while as there are replacement parts!).

This Countersink kit has a few standout features that make it a winner in the woodshop.The kit comes in a form-fitted plastic storage case with everything organized and clearly labeled. It includes counterbores in 3/8” and 1/2” with drill bits in 1/8", 9/64"and 5/32", providing five bit/bore combinations. Each of these fits into the precision holder which has an etched depth gauge and free-rotating plastic shield.The bit assembly has an easy-to-read precision depth gauge that allows you to quickly and accurately set the counter-bore depth, the free-spinning rotating plastic collar protects the surface while providing a positive stop, making it easy to achieve perfect repeatable countersinks every time.The five countersink bits have two carbide cutters which do a decent job of carving out a properly shaped 82-degree countersink with minimal tear out of the surface. The depth adjustment and plastic shield make this fast and easy to use, with precision, repeatable results, whether using with a hand drill or drill press. I found this kit much faster to setup and use than conventional counterbores on my drill press, as there is no need to set the drill press’s depth stop, which saves time. It also allows precision results when using a hand drill, something that is difficult to achieve with conventional counterbore bits.Bottom line: This is a very useful counterbore kit that produces precision repeatable results at an affordable price.

For years I've been using a set of Snappy countersink bits, and they work fine, but the problem is that the ones I have don't have stops on them, so you can't drill a consistent depth countersunk hole over and over. So, when drilling a lot of holes for a project, it's slower and less consistent.I've eyed other countersink bits with stops like the pricey Amana bits, but they're, well, pricey, and you only get one size bit. So I figured this set would be worth a try, and bottom line I'm glad I ordered it. It's not as nice as an Amana bit, so if you're a professional using these all day, every day, the investment in a name brand set might be worthwhile, but for the typical DIYer, this set has everything you need, offers adjustable drill bit depths as well as countersink depths, along with a stop that rotates independently of the drill bit, so you don't have to worry about the depth stop marring the face of the material you're drilling (which is an issue with cheaper depth stops).My only issue is that the white plastic depth stop ring on this bit is sort of loose. It has to be a little loose so that it can rotate freely and stop when it touches the work surface, but it feels like it might fall off on its own accord. It hasn't actually done that in my limited use so far, but it just feels like it could be a little more secure. That said, since the plastic ring is subject to a little wear over time and is not something you can easily buy elsewhere, it's nice that they supplied a spare.But, overall, I'm happy to have the capabilities that this set offers.
