Couldn't get my snowblower started for the life of me. Tried cleaning old carb...no luck. Threw this on and fired up instantly....at this price it's not even worth messing with the old carb...just swap it out

How can you argue with a an approximately $20 dollar tune up in a box. Everything is in there with the exception of an oil change. This kit will ensure no fowled plugs, no vacuum leaks or gas contaminants. I've spent $12 to $14 just on the carb alone in the past. This kit is the real deal. Thanks!

I picked up an old MTD snowblower about 5 years ago from a yard sale. That winter I bought a cheap carburetor on Amazon and got it running. Fast forward and that carb started leaking out of the drain fitting. I decided to go with this style since it does away with that drain. I had the carb swapped out in a matter of minutes, then decided to swap the fuel line since it was included in the kit. On the Tecumseh engine, it's best to remove the front cover and flywheel to get the line routed properly. There are good videos on YT and it's really not difficult to do. Once everything was buttoned up, the snowblower started immediately and runs fantastic. I think it runs better than the previous carb. Although these are made in China, I do like how we can easily and cheaply keep these old machines running instead of sending them to the scarp yard.

Installed carb kit today on 10hp Tecumseh snow king engine on MTD. Runs great! Only downside is that hose is too big for the small passage in engine. This requires 1/4 x 7/16” fuel hose. The included hose is 1/2” OD. Spark plug also works well.

Runs perfectly 👌Thankyou seller for supplying this item at a reasonable cost. Would absolutely buy again, and if I ever need to I will be coming straight back here. Item also arrived quickly , 1.5 weeks ahead of the expected date and was well packaged.

The carburetor worked and my snowblower now runs like new, so mechanically the main item that I ordered and needed did what it was supposed to do. The reason for only 3-stars is that many of the parts pictured on the product listing are NOT included, and the product listing is extremely misleading. The very first picture you see on this listing clearly shows nineteen pieces, but the box contains only 11 pieces. When I ordered this, I saw the picture of what I believed was included and purchased it because I needed most of them, but mainly the carburetor, two gaskets, both the primer fuel line and the main fuel line, and the clamps for all of the fuel lines. When I finally opened the box and installed the carb, I discovered that the main fuel line was not included, and that was a piece that I absolutely needed. I received a FREE MTD snow blower w/ 8hp Tecumseh motor, but as they say, there is no free lunch. My free snow blower needed many replacement parts to operate properly, including a new or rebuilt carburetor as it would surge constantly at operating temperature and there is no adjustment. I'm handy, but not inclined to rebuild a carburetor, so I purchased this replacement. For the low cost, including all of the additional parts, I was skeptical and my expectations were very low. You do need to transfer the choke assembly and the bracket for the metal cover from the old carburetor to this new one. All holes were tapped from the factory and accepted the old screws without issue. The new carburetor installed easily and is a perfect replacement for the original carburetor that came with my MTD snow blower. I only used the carburetor and one of the clamps for the fuel line, but all of the included replacement parts appear to be of good quality. With the new carburetor installed, which took less than 20 minutes, the snow blower fired right up on a single pull of the recoil starter handle and runs smoothly without any surging. This carburetor is non-adjustable, but came preset from the factory. I am very satisfied with this carburetor and am very much looking forward to the first big snowfall of the season. Highly recommended.

Installed with a few tools and went quickly I did not install all the parts yet but plan to install before next winter. New carb has snow thrower engine running like new. No longer sucking air and having very rough idle. It also starts first pull now. Great value. And it came quicker than stated.
