If you need a 37" belt, this one is too short. If installed on a Cub Cadet using the same part number as this claims to be, you cannot disengage the auger even with the tensioner completely slack. The belt measures under 36" which can be mildly infuriating as you're unable to return your machine back to work and you need to move a foot of snow. Strangely enough, the belt part number on the belt itself says it's 37" when it clearly isn't- and this isn't the first no-name belt that has been exactly the same amount short. Bought a proper name brand belt from a local dealer and it works perfectly- so it's not my machine that's "off."

I ordered two 4L370 belts. It's a common belt used for things like snowblowers. It's the part number for a 1/2" x 37" v-belt. They were stamped 4L370, even. But I had a heck of a time installing the first one. A more knowledgeable person would have stopped there, but I got it on and cleared the driveway once before the belt shredded. I measured the second one before putting it on. I measured it 4 or 5 times. The measurement is based on outer dimension (circumference) and both belts were exactly 35.5" long instead of 37". They were stamped wrong at the factory or something. Would not recommend at all.

My 2014 3x26" Cub Cadet auger belt finally broke after 10 years. I located several belts that stated they met the description, dimension, and length of the belt 954-04195A 37"L x 0.5"W. I purchased three belts off of Amazon: Brand: TALSWIF (I DO NOT RECOMMEND, it was a full inch short in length), Brand: Poagavgs (it matches the dimension/length of the original, this is my backup belt now), and the Cub Cadet OME (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0198SBWYC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) which fit on the first attempt to install. I highly recommend OME when it is available and at a good value, and this was it. I am not concerned to install the Poagavgs if it comes to this.

The belts I received did NOT have the same length as the other spare I have. I live in snow country and have 2 snowblowers with same belts. The other new one I have is new and the 4L370 ones I sent are noticably shorter. I will be getting my money back and going somewhere else.
