I bought this to use in my Transit campervan, as I charge as many of my appliances as possible when driving to save my leisure battery. I have it plugged into the 12v socket on the passenger side of the cab, which is right over by the passenger door.I have no Apple devices, so the lightning cable won't be used, but boy oh boy the USB-C cable is FAST! I have used it to charge my phone and tablet one after the other on a journey, and both of them charged to max within a very short time. I can't quantify that, except to say that when I looked over and found my phone was already at 100% we had only been on the road a little over an hour, and it was on about 24% when I plugged it in.The USB-A socket on the opposite side came in handy too, as its output is more than sufficient to keep the sat nav chugging along nicely while we're on the road, without seeming to slow down the fast charging via the USB-C cable!I have taken a star off, as I would have liked the retractable cable to be a little longer, to keep my appliances safer while charging from the middle seat. This is unique to a van installation though, where everything is quite spaced out. I feel the 80cm length would be plenty long enough in a normal car.

Got this so the kids can charge their devices when in the back of the car. Nice little LED shows the output power.Works and quick charges. Bit bulkier than others but that's likely down to the extra circuitry for the display as well as the display itself.

I have bought other chargers that are too weak to actually charge. This one really does the job and the digital display of power is really helpful. Phone was charging while running sat nav and spotify. Great.

This charger works perfectly, the charger itself is very good quality and feels like it will last awhile. All of the components feel like theyâre well-made, and the additional cable is also good quality.Very easy to use, and very self-explanatory as Iâm sure we have all used one of these before.Charging speed seems to be very good, and much better than previous ones I have used or had, so happy with that.Good quality product at a good price, so overall Iâm very happy to recommend

This car charger with 2 USB outputs and voltage display looks good. I couldn't decide if the body was some sort of metal-look hard plastic or metal, but the website says it is zinc alloy, so presumably is.The 36W output is split between the 2 outputs, each with a maximum of 18W at 9V or 12V and 15W at 5V. The fast charging works correctly. The website says it "automatically stops charging when the battery of your device is fully charged" but it does not turn off, like a couple of power banks I have do, the device simply stops accepting any more charge as is the case with every charger I've ever had. When my phone was full, according to a USB power monitor it continued to provide 9.07V but at 0.00A. Perfectly normal. The absence of a USB-C output socket is not a problem in my view, though some people might prefer that it had one of each.Having the vehicle voltage display is potentially useful and a nice feature. There is no fuse built into the plug but the website states that "an intelligent chipset provides over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection" though I think that probably relates to the output rather than the input.Included is a 1 metre long USB-A to USB-C charging lead which also does data - can view contents of my Samsung phone when used to connect it to PC. USB-A plug is standard 4-pin, not USB3.At ÂŁ7.99 this is good value and I'd happily recommend.
