This was a great and affordable upgrade for our Jeeps stock unit. CarPlay Addition works great!Packaging: Packed very well and individually zip lock bagged components.Directions: Very well written and illustrated Quick Start guide, a full Users manual, and a Troubleshooting guideInstall: Was very easy with the help of proper tools and some common sense. Takes about 2-3 hrs Start to Finish.Parts: Nothing felt cheaply made, everything was well labeled in the wiring looms and plastic parts were solid and strongUnit/Software: Beautiful screen, good touch sensitivity and Car Play with my iPhone works just as intended. No lagging or intermittent connections with Bluetooth, Wifi or with the USB to Lightning cable.Microphone: good quality microphone with good sound on callsRear Camera: works great when jeep is in Reverse! nice resolution and no distortion of the rear view.

Very easy to install even though there are very limited instructions. Worked great and sounded better than factory unit on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. After one week, quit working and no sound. No support from supplier or Amazon. They will not refund or return until you return unit so you have to drive around with no stereo for 2 weeks.

We bought one of these for our daughter for Christmas to put in her new Jeep. It's amazing. The Bluetooth clarity is fantastic. It connects immediately to your phone. The sound system is great. The back up camera is fantastic. Installation is easy! Amazing sound quality we liked it so much we put one in my car and we put one in my husband's car.. The display is so clear and easy to use. It fits perfectly in all 3 cars. All around the functionality is perfect.

The microphone is horrible with static people have told me on the other end. It’s ever sensitive. Attach it to the headliner not something solid as it picks up too much vibrations while driving. The unit itself has a bit of a delay when communicating with phone via Bluetooth. Other than that it’s decent for a low price tag.

What a great upgrade for the price! The install was so so easy. I opted out of putting up the backup camera because I have a 2 door jeep and I don’t have issues backing up, plus I didn’t really want to connect wires and stuff. But the directions are super clear. Pretty much plug, factory reset, and enjoy. I watched a quick video on YouTube just to calm my anxieties and after watching one 10 min video and reading the simple instructions, I got it connected and working in under and hour. Sound quality is fantastic. Very reactive screen and performs very well, and the appearance of the screen is clear and easy to navigate. Automatically connects to my iPhone and CarPlay starts playing music as long as I have my music app open. Bought this on a whim(because uconnect sucks so bad) and it did not disappoint.

Just finished installing the new radio in my 2010 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. As noted by others, the directions are terrible. Just one sheet with basics for connections. Don’t show all connections. Ended up searching for videos and found a few. One from manufacture showed all of the cables and connections. Since this is intended for multiple vehicles, you end up not using many of the connections, but do need to have all plugged into the radio. Watch how to remove radio video as it helps a ton. They include plastic tool to help remove panels. It was super handy and helped make the job much easier without damaging the panels. I had to take most of the panels off on the drivers side to run the microphone and back up camera wires. I ran the back up camera wire through the door trim and carpet to the back of the jeep. Under the jack is a rubber drain plug that you can cut to run the wire outside to the bumper to mount the camera. The radio is pretty intuitive for setting up Apple Car Play. Still figuring some things out, but happy so far. The USB cables will need to be figured out as how you want to connect. Guess you could just hang them under the dash, but I purchased a USB/C combo connector that you can replace your lighter port with. Picture has USB cables hanging through the hole as I’m waiting for it to come in.

I purchased this for my 2016 Jeep wrangler; it’s aesthetically pleasing however it often disconnects from Bluetooth, then I need to figure out how to get it back online. I have noticed if I want to listen to FM radio I struggle to switch back to my music library. Since i had to pay to get this professionally installed I never returned it as I figured by then the installation and removal of it was going to be more expensive then the actual device. I wish there was a way to remove the digital speedometer on this device since my jeep already displays it and instead install a widget for FM radio…
