It was not long ago that I did not even know plug in coolers were a thing.I ordered this for a late summer 12 day road trip, and I am SO glad I did.I have since used it for two more road trips of varying length.I love the easy temperature control buttons and screen.I love how quiet it is.I love that there is no ice to melt and leak water. It is important to note that this cooler is heavier than a traditional cooler due to the compressor, this also means that the cooler useable space may seem lower because the compressor takes up space, but that space would be otherwise used for ice so it is a non issue for me.It is also pretty heavy, again because of the compressor. It is a cooler for road trips and car camping, not for the beach or camping where even light hiking is required.I love the light colors and its simple design.I love that there is a cable for in a house or in a car, allowing me to take the cooler inside when I arrive at a destination. There are a few things I would love to see changed. The screen stays on all the time when it is plugged in, I would love for that to turn off or dim after a few minutes. It would also be nice if the handles were more flush with the sides when not in use.But these are small things, it is a really great cooler just the way it is.

We got this as we do a lot of long road trips and camping in our mini van. Coolers just weren't cutting it. This works as an actual fridge or even as a freezer! I was struggling with bursitis in my hips on our last trip so I froze some water bottles to use as ice packs and it was perfect. It's pretty quiet too, unlike our previous electric cooler so doesn't bother us while we sleep.

I purchased to use while living in a Van. Held up perfectly. Stays on temp (even on a hot day!). Powerful. Easy to use. Easy install. Perfect for camping or traveling or even for a extra fridge/freezer at home. Cute look. 10/10 would buy again.

We bought this cooler/freezer so we could keep our baby's milk cold or frozen. We've been impressed by the quality and the performance of this cooler-freezer. It comes with a plug for the car and a wall plug so if you reach your vacation destination and you don't have a fridge on site, no issue! Our only regret is not to have bought the biggest size 19 quarts.

This is incredible! Ordered in a rush while moving my daughter and newborn granddaughter to cross country from Washington state. She had frozen breast milk that needed to be safely shipped and we couldn’t afford the 600 fed ex wanted to charge for overnight. This thing worked perfect. It kept every bag frozen (40 bags in total) plus refroze her ice packs and 4 additional bags on the road during our 4 day journey. Came with two different power supplies one for the car and one for the hotel room. I recommend this ten times overFit Perfect on the floorboard. Incredibly impressed with this and so glad I took a chance on it. Worth every penny.

I purchased this fridge to take on a girls road trip with my daughter. We traveled to three states over eight days. This fridge was exactly what we needed. It’s a good size and holds a lot. It maintains the temperature well. It is easy to transport. And best of all it can be used as either a refrigerator or a freezer. This is one of the best purchases that I have made. It is well-made and does the job perfectly. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a portable refrigerator to keep things cold on a road trip. It’s also very nice if the hotel where you’re staying doesn’t have a mini fridge in the room. It comes with two types of plugs. One that plugs into the car and another that plugs into a normal plug for a hotel room.

The LED temperature setting is not very close to being accurate. The temperature readings on my thermometers (I used three different ones) are consistently quite a bit higher than what the LED says. and the temperature inside varies more than I would like.If I want to use it as a freezer, the lowest setting is -18C on the LED, but my thermometers read -11 to -12 (10F) inside the unit. And it goes up as high as -7C (20F) before the compressor kicks back on. It did freeze water, and some meat, but I doubt it would be OK for ice cream. If I want to use it as a refrigerator, I set it at zero degrees (32F), but the inside temp goes as high as 41F on my thermometers inside). That being said, I decided to keep it for the following reasons:1) I like the size and weight vs capacity. And so far, it is very quiet. 2) It seems to sip power - I left it hooked up to my ECO-Worthy LifePo4 battery to see how long it would last, and it lasted about 24 hours before the battery shut down. The room was 67F, the fridge was set to 0, and I only peeked in few times. But we're talking about a 20AH battery, 240 Watt hours, which means that the fridge used an average of 10 watts/hour. We'll see how it does in warmer weather, but I plan to get a larger battery and solar panel. I wish there was an insulating cover that fits it. I might try to make one. 3) The price was pretty low compared to other units. And I have read the reviews of many different brands, and they all have complaints against them. So, I think it work for my purposes. It will keep the type of food I use at my off the grid camp well enough. I never keep ice cream there anyway.UPDATE:Just got back from a weeklong stay at my off the grid camp, and I was happy with the performance of the fridge. I set the temp at 1 degree Celsius. Even though the display temp drifts up to 5C before the compressor kicks in again, the contents stayed cold enough, without freezing anything. Best of all, my small 12v 20Ah Eco-Worthy Lithium battery, hooked up to a 100W panel, handled the power requirements - even though it was sunny, hot (87F) and humid for several days, with one day being hot and rainy.

Some years ago I had a cooler that was plugged into the vehicle. The temp could not be controlled and cooling was a joke. I tossed that and went back to regular ice chests. I usually pull a travel trailer now and don't need one; however, am taking a road trip in my car and after reading reviews I gave this one a try. Will be leaving on my trip in a couple of weeks but have already used it. It is perfect...perfect size for my needs, perfect noise level, perfect temperature control. Looking forward to have this with me on my two week trip!!
