Got mine set up in my bedroom awhile back and saw i can do a review so here I am. Got it awhile back and I use it to hold my weights so I can work on my back muscles. With spinal problems I need to keep working the muscles so I don't have spasms going crazy. Other then that I havnt had a single problem at all and my oldest uses it alot also for pull ups and such. 2 thumbs up and a hell ya

Having the ability to squat and bench at home for just over $100 is an insane value. While this isn't your dream rack, it works fine and gets you in the door while you save for something nicer. The fit and finish are nicer than I expected at the price point. I don't keep any weight on the weight storage horn, but the bar storage cup gets a lot more use than I expected. Putting 4 stars because the j-cups are just painted steel and tear up your bar, but nicer 2x2 cups are easy to find and won't break the bank. My only concern long-term is the 2-piece uprights, but so far they have remained sturdy with up to 225lbs on the rack, and if they loosen I'll just upgrade to a Titan X-3.

I bought the next step down Cap rack before this one. The $88 Walmart one. Yikes. This is really nice once you buy the safety supports. If you dont need or want to buy the supports then maybe the $88 one is for you. The supports are great, you can bench and squat alone and not be worried. The close hole spacing lets you get a good height for bench...most of the other racks have too big of jumps and will get the supports either too high or too low. This barely takes up any more room than the $88 one and this one has a pull-up bar. The available dip attachments work great too. The pins are 1/2" unlike most that are 5/8" or 1" so make sure accessories fit. SELEWARE dip handles are fantastic on here and come in 1/2".

What I hate about this Cap Barbell Power Rack is the manual/instructions on setting this up. It could be more clear on what screws to use and where it goes. There are 3 inforgraphic and numbers where each item goes into which, but it could be more simple to clear up any mistakes. For instance, I accidently used the long screws on the bottom, but you are suppose to use the short screws which there are 4. I thought the 4 shorts would be used for the pullup bar and until I realized I had to dissemble everything which was a pain in the arse. Next, putting the pullup bar can be difficult. You are fumbling around the bar, the screws, the nuts, and the wrench. It takes a lot of strength and mobility. The pros of this rack is that it does not require much to assemble, and it's compact for your bedroom.

I read the reviews on this before purchasing and was hesitant on ordering it. I am glad that I ordered it. It was not difficult to assembly and instructions were not difficult to follow on how to assemble it once I studied the pictures on step by step. It did take me about 2 hours to assemble because I wanted to do it right and I was slow but it came out badass. Great addition to my home gym. I weight 190 lbs @ 5 feet 11 inches. I am able to do pull ups and this equipment does not move at all as I am doing pull ups. It has areas where you can permanently attached it to the ground if you want that for added support but I need to constantly move mine so I have not anchored it and it is easy to relocate. I love it.

The base unit itself seems pretty decent, but the pictures show that it has posts on each side for weight storage. The actual main picture on Amazon shows weight storage posts on both sides. When I actually get the product, it comes with one weight plate storage post, and another post that I thought must have been the wrong part. It turns out that unlike the product image on here, it has a weight bar storage on the right hand side. This is utterly stupid, because whenever you store weight plates you're gonna want an even distribution. If you don't have an even distrubution the unit's gonna be incredibly unstable. If you put any horizontal force WHAT SO EVER the unit tips over.So I called CAP Barbel. Automated voice mail NO ONE ANSWERING PHONE EVER. The voicemail says to email them. I email them. They get back to me 3-4 days later and tell me I have the right part.. Long story short they say I can order the part from them for $9 .. I fill out the Credit Cart authorization form and mail it back.A week goes by I hear nothing. I email them. Another 4 days go by nothing. I email them demanding a response. I get a reply "We're still trying to locate it in our warehouse." I say thanks for the update.. Another week goes by nothing, I email asking for an update. Nothing..It has been over a month or more maybe even two months since I ordered this. I still cannot use it. Recently I decided on a DIY solution-- Found some 2" diameter furniture feet on here that have a screw hole in the bottom. Got them, with slight modification they work. Go to Home Depot. They don't have a good supply of screws of the damn right size because it's metric. I get the longest they got. This morning realize they're too short.Who knows what.. 2 months? Longer after my purchase, I can't use the god damn thing that I paid $100 for. CAP has one that costs $200 that has weight plate posts on both sides but again, does it really? This one had the damn picture of two and it only has one.Amazon has a 30 day return policy. Do the math. I wasted my money. Bought the wrong product. CAP barbell's customer service is fricken garbage.Super dissatisfied customer. Now instead of going to Kung Fu I'm headed to Loews to see if they have 3" bolts in the right size so I can finally use the product that I bought ages ago and CAP was NO GOD DAMN HELP WHATSOEVER.Never buying another product from CAP barbell unless I know 100% from seeing the god damn thing in person that it's what I need, and I will never have to speak to the manufacturer. From what I can tell: Decent product. Complete piece of trash customer support.
