I have a long walk-in and my clothes are on the long side. my prior, plastic ends fell off due to the weight. I have had these up for more than 6 months and seem to do the job. Easy to install.

I guess my hoarding ways caught up with me and the clothes rod in my closet finally had endured all it could before collapsing. I ordered these to replace the broken ones. They were easy to install by a virtual non handy at all person such as myself. Within just a few minutes I had them installed and was hanging my clothes back up. I also thinned out my closet in the process so it’s a win win for me!

Bought these to hold up some heavy curtains. The brackets are nicely finished and decently hefty in hand. Upon closer inspection, it's not a single metal piece as I expected. Rather it's spot welded at three points, which I've circled in red in the photo I uploaded. Seems to be okay for the application, but it definitely took away from my confidence in them.A bigger problem was that two of the four brackets were ever so slightly smaller than the described 1 1/3". My curtain rods were right about that size, and it fit nicely in the two brackets that are true to size. With the two smaller brackets, the rod would go in about 2/3 the way. It's not bad enough that it's a total failure. But again, just points to the less than desirable quality control and build quality. But... I lucked out in a way, since the defect came in pairs and they were roughly equally smaller. so I was still able to use all four brackets fortunately. Your mileage may vary. You get what you paid for.

The plastic end supports that my landlord installed cracked and broke under the weight of my clothes rod (over the course of 10 years, but still). When the one broke, the weight of the clothes snapped the other one and ripped the cantilevered center support out of the wall. It was the middle of the night, and I really thought there was some structural failure in the building it was so loud. The couple-hundred pounds of clothes ended up on the floor of the closet, immovable. I was going to fix this mess myself so this didn't happen again, so I wondered whether there was a high-quality end support made out of a material that wasn't going to crack and break. I saw these on Amazon, and they were a few bucks more than the plastic ones, but looked good-quality. I was extremely-pleased when they arrived. Excellent quality stainless-steel, with all the screws and anchors you would need. It took me a few minutes to carefully-mark the location of the screw holes on both sides of the closet so the bar would be level, but it took like a minute each to screw them into the wood blocks on the wall with my drill. I have no doubt that they are never, ever, coming down, and that confidence is nice to have.
