Make out points depend on your board shelf size at your desired height on the wall/wall cleat.

Drill the hole the wall and put in screw anchors, then fasten the long screw to the screw anchors. Or fasten the long screw to the wall cleat.

Put the bracket on the wall screw,

Fasten the bracket with another one screw in the wall.
Fifth
The rest brackets refer to the above steps 2-3-4
Sixth
Use screw the board and bracket, then fasten rod with screw.

These are well made brackets that will hold some serious weight. I installed this with a hanging bar to hang up towels for car washing. It is has a 72” shelf and I mounted 3 brackets 32” apart so I could screws into the studs. I anticipate loading up the shelf with a few heavy garage items.. The package of hardware that came with the brackets (3/4” and 1 1/4” screws) are pretty flimsy. I laughed when I saw the wall plugs that came in the screw package. Wall plugs? Really? Umm, no. Mount the brackets directly on the studs. These brackets were not the cheapest but they are well constructed. The bar hangers are metal (as they should be) versus plastic that I found at my local Lowe’s.

Bought these for use with our closet rods. They were easy to install with a drill and stud finder my husband was able to put them on in under 10 minutes.Very sturdy and they do the job. They support the rod very well. Size is good and the value is good for the amount we received.

Product came when expected and was as described. They seemed to be strong enough to hold rail and shelves but unfortunately due to an unexpected move I had to return before I got chance to use them. Their returns process was easy to follow and money refunded without fuss. Would definitely order from supplier again.
