I purchased these to go with a clothes rod I bought at Lowes. Unfortunately, the dowel rod Lowes sells is 1 and 5/16" in diameter so these will not fit. I checked with Home Depot and the wooden rod they sell is also 1 5/16" in diameter. Geez. I would return these but I really like the color and design. UPDATE: I was finally able to find a rod that is 1 1/4" in diameter sold at a specialty woodworking store called Rockler.

I bought these for my outdoor light installation. I needed something to hold a pole and these were perfect! I’ve had them installed for about 3 months now and haven’t had any issues. Mind they are outside! They are quite sturdy and would be great for what they are intended for which is closet pole brackets. The matte black finish goes well with our aesthetic, and having a item come with the necessary screws to accomplish a project is a nice touch. Lord knows having a screw with the accurate diameter when you just want to get something done without have to make 20 trips to Lowes is a blessing. 🙂

1 out of the 4 received is crooked. Bad finish on all 4 of them. Also don’t expect that they have the some hole positions. I ended up drilling all different sets of holes because they are not uniform. Why did I expect good quality and value from MIC items. I must be insane.

These are not the same depth as the poles sold. Don't reach to help hold the poles also sold on Amazon.

We hung closet rods from the ceiling to utilize the space in our sloped ceiling closets. They look amazing and were super easy to install

These are very sturdy and also pretty. They hold a lot of weight if installed at proper intervals on the rafters in a attic! I love the look.
