Very useful. I was able to replace the cover of the mason jars with straw holes with these. Everything was clean too!

I bought these to use with my hodge-podge assortment of canning jars to "put up" some fig preserves (got 3 pounds from a generous neighbor and they have been in the freezer for awhile). These fit the regular mouth jars just fine. I haven't done the canning yet, but these seem up to the task.
