These kids fit wide mouthed jars well. They are easy to twist on and off and do not leak. I had previously had a problem with metal lids getting rusty, and using these has eliminated that problem. The white lids are easy to label and seem durable.

These lids hold fluid in wide-mouth mason jars very well. I would, however, note that the extra silicone ring, which makes these lids so effective, is also one more piece to wash.

I got sick of my metal lids having rust and never seeming to get clean. These lids seal nicely! These plastic lids have been perfect for my mason jars! I make cold brew and after I finish a jar, I just put the lid in the dishwasher and it comes out clean! The only downside I found was when brewing the cold brew with a filter that fits in my mason jar, the lids do not seal for this. The filters must be a bit too large where the lid can’t fit over them to seal the jar. Not a big deal to me as it just has to sit for 24 hrs and then I can take the filter out and seal it up nicely!

These are great! They are leak proof. They come with a rubber seal. It’s easy to open with the grippy part of the lid. They seem pretty durable and are going to work better than the metal lids. Very easy to use. My metal lids started to rust and I needed something quicker to seal the jars for my pancake mix :) I feel like I might be a little too excited to use these and get rid of the rusty metal ones!

Do you love using Mason jars for other, more ordinary things but hate coping with the separate lids and rings designed for canning? Then these lids are for you. Sized for regular-mouthed Mason jars (NOT the wide-mouthed ones), these well-made tops screw on firmly but are still easy to remove and then replace. They come with separate silicone lid liners that slip into premade grooves in the lid to help it make a secure seal with the jar. You can upend the jars when full or even drop them (I did) without any leaks. Before these I had some similar, knock-off ones with uneven places in the lid that actually scratched me. These here actually feel great in the hand and also look professional in fridge or freezer or pantry. I don't know whether you can wash them in the dishwasher, because they clean so easily by hand, rinsing clean in a jiffy under the hot water faucet and drying quickly without having to remove and replace the silicone liner (I do run my finger over the liner while rinsing to be sure the water is getting well into the entire space). I'm about to buy the wide-mouthed lids, too, and throw out all my previous ones. These are the real deal.

Just a flat surface interior. No ridge to aid in sealing. There are much better lids out there. But they will do for now.
