I used it as a bird feeder hook on a 1 1/4-inch diameter pole. Grips well. Length OK, but wished it was a little longer. We'll see how the black vinyl grippers hold up to the Florida sun.

I was aware of the dimensions of these hooks when I ordered but seeing them on the pole, I feel a longer size would be better for us -- did not get these for Bird Feeders or camping but for hanging flower pots -- the design and the materials used for these is very good -- I like that they can be reversed for different sized poles -- the coating on the curled up parts is fairly thick and glossy so probably easily cleaned -- If this coating holds up under sunlight they should last a very long time -- I would order from this seller again because of the high-quality product I received

I do craft shows and use a standard 10x10 pop up tent. I wanted a way to display my suncatchers so I was looking for something I could easily attach and remove from my tent legs to hang them on.
