This is a handy tool that is easy to use and helps in determining your tongue weight. Just ensure the ground is level when you use it. It would be even better if there was a scale in pounds to go along with the KG scale.I do recommend and I would buy this again.

Simple to use. Would advise lowering the trailer jack only enough to get all of the wt on to the scale device (for safety)

The base is too small, it is not sturdy at all, recommend making sure your trailer is tightly chocked and as you bring the hitch down to the scale, keep your strut extended with about 1/8 inch off the ground. The scale is very unstable
