I had to order this because I was attempting to connect to some network hardware and the device I was using didn't have a USB A port, and the adapters were a couple of days after this arrived. Quick connection and worked perfectly.

My last console cable didn't work. So I was super nervous this time because being a networking guy, a console cable is needed for almost all your works, and I am so happy I found this new brand and this console cable worked flawless.I wish the cable was more thicket and maybe a bit longer than 6ft i.e. 10 ft would have been nice.But I am still so very much happy because there's no reviews on this product and it is definitely new here on Amazon, so it definitely seemed like a risk going for this cable and brand, but I am very happy.Hope the 24-months warranty services are great, too, if and I hope I never need it.

After fiddling around with a few other adapters, an old laptop running Windows XP with a DB9 connector, and trying on my regular Win10 machine, this cable finally worked to connect to the console port of a Juniper EX4200. Wish I would have started with this cable as it would have saved time and money.

Works great with Cisco catalyst 2960G-48TC-L. I got this because my computer didn't have a serial port. After the drivers were installed it worked great. note: in putty i have to type in com3 and not com1.

Used with putty and instantly connected with no problems on Win10. It'll show up as "Unknown USB device" under USB controllers but is also recognized as "USB Serial port (COM5)" under Ports so there are no problems getting this to work with Windows. It's nice having a black console cable compared to the standard baby blue cables.

Worked perfectly on my Win10 computer connecting to my Fortigate. Drivers were included on the disk and a tag indicated you could download them from their website, but it wasn't needed at all. I do like that the cable is flat, but I wouldn't have minded a little thicker jacket on the cables, but for the price, I would definitely recommend it. Nice to not have to deal with USB to RS232 and then RS232 to console cables.

This cable does not work. It's completely useless. None of my computers recognized it.
