This red-handled Stainless Steel kitchen utensil can be used as a Cabbage Shredder, a Lettuce Chopper, and a Fruit and Vegetable Slicer. The handle is nonslip and feels comfortable in my hand. It's recommended to hand wash only. I like that it lies flat in the drawer, using very little space.I'm a widow who mainly cooks for myself. This utensil requires no setup, is easy to use, and cleanup is a breeze.

It is usually my job to prepare vegetables in our kitchen. For cole slaw, I sometimes use a cheese grater, sometimes just use a french knife to cut the cabbage. Neither is especially good for the job. This handy little tool makes for nice, uniform shredded cabbage. It feels awkward at first, but it felt more natural by the time I finished half a cabbage. My wife and kids liked the results, which were nice and professional. At about $6.50, this is a pretty good buy, IMO.
