Terrible stand as it's not actually 'adjustable'. The part of the stand which you tighten to keep the extended pole in place is useless (as other reviewers have pointed out) meaning the pole just falls back down to its shortest height. This stand is not "extendable". The mechanism that is supposed to keep it in the extended position does not tighten sufficiently, so it just telescopes all the way back to the shortest version as soon as any weight (e.g. a webcam) is put on it. This is junk, will need to replace with something proper from an electronics store.

This stand was functioning for me at my desk so that I could raise my phone up to eye level for calls and video conferencing. With 6 months of light daily use the plastic grooves that grip the screw used to hold a major section of the stand just disintegrated making the stand no longer usable. I'm not sure why plastic grooves hold a metal screw. At some point the hard plastic was going to break apart. It's now a paper weight. Spend a bit more money on an all-metal stand.

I've finally resolved all the stability issues that seem to go along with the affordable webcam stands I've tried from Amazon. I am using the tilt/panning adjustment (ball) with no issues. The vertical adjustment is easy to use and locks in position with a slight twist of the knob. The whole assembly is absolutely stable when adjusted. I don't have any more to ask of this cost effective stand. This was a great purchase.

Used to hold webcam for work meetings; adjustable height and slim stand with stable base so easy to set up. Exactly what I need.

Very sturdy, works as intended. The height range is perfect. I work remotely and have almost daily meetings. I had no good place to set up my camera due to the height I keep my desk for comfort. This works perfectly and is easy to adjust if I happen to have changed my desk height for whatever reason. Would buy again if needed.

Just to be clear, web cam not included. The review system requested “camera quality” as a rating, so that was marked N/A because there is no camera. This is a stand and only a stand.Solid and unmoving even with cats. The neck can be tilted or adjusted. Heavier than expected but still quite light. Functions as intended. The assembly was somewhat tough but was well worth it. No tools needed to assemble.

This is the best webcam stand I could find. The quality is excellent. It is very sturdy.I have several small "ASKS":1. Wish they have a Lite version. Webcam are not heavy and because I have it positioned in front of my monitor (so I'm looking directly at the lense when on a video call) I wish the tube was 25% the size. This would reduce it blocking the screen2. Similar ask for the base - smaller legs but same heavy gauge metal3. Add tilting both directions. The current tilt is needed to get the camera pointed at your face. As I said I place it in front of my monitor and would like to easily tilt it right or left when not in use.4. Route the USB cable through the tube or have cable clips so the cable is held in place when moving the webcam.

We wanted this camera mount for a video camera that we move around (move it away from a workspace when not being used). It's bigger than we thought and moving it isn't that hard, but all the tightening screws loosen way too easily and it has to be re-set-up whenever we move it. A single "stick" would have been better. It's very easy to set up, great directions and helpful video, but it doesn't work if you want to move it frequently.

I added a webcam and gave to daughter who tutors students online. Helps her show how problems are solved in real time. She said it works great.

I purchased this product for a webcam, as perching it atop my flat panel monitor was revealing more of the space behind me than desired. This item is sturdy despite lightweight. It assembles easily (as shown on the merchant video). I particularly like the options for ability to adjust, and ease of adjusting those to a right angle, etc. This was a selling factor for me, reading reviews on other 'bendable' type stands and wondering for ability to hold a position or withstand webcam weight without 'drooping'. Plus, I didn't care much for the appearance of the bendable styles. I also didn't want a clamp type of stand, as many seem to be, versus one able to stand independent of a clamp to my desk. This item basically met all criteria for me. I would buy this again and definitely recommend.
