My granddaughter wanted to make a peppermint/chocolate item for our family's annual "bake-off" and this is what she came up with - Peppemint Pizelle Tacos. They won first place, of course. She always does. She used a piece of PVC pipe to shape them. The only problem she had was fending off her younger siblings and cousins who kept snatching them before she could dip and fill them.

very happy. stays evenly hot... not one cookie stuck to the plate in my very first batch. I can't say that about my villaware most would stick.

To tell you the truth, I've owned a series of bad Pizzelle irons in my life time. It got to the point that I hated to make these things because it was a battle to rip them out of the so-called 'non-stick' plates. I'd always end up with beat-up, burned, embarrassing pizzelles - hardly the Christmas delicacy I dreamed of giving as gifts. Then I purchased the Palmer Pizzelle iron. I am making perfect puzzles each and every time. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for excuses to make more! It maintains a perfect temperature, pizzelles pop right of the plates easily and clean up is a breeze. I no longer dread the mandatory Christmas cookie exchange!Just spend the money and buy the Palmer Pizzelle iron. You won't regret it!

I am very happy with my Palmer 3 Round Pizzelle iron. It is a classic example that "Made in the USA" equals quality, unlike foreign appliances that appear to be made by Mattel. From the first use, not a one pizzelle stuck. All come out clean as a whistle. Watch them though. They bake in seconds. They look so pretty when sprinkled with powdered sugar. Nice designs. Buy this one! I opted on the 3 incher because I can eat more than one and still equal one 5 incher size. BTW pizzelle is pronounced peetsalla - like pizza.

I was so happy to get this! I have the one that make two, But this one makes 3 a little smaller but they are awesome! my Sister gave my a recipe that was handed down from her husbands Grandmother and it is Delicious! I gave alot of them to friends and co-workers and they keep wanting more! the great thing about this is that you dont have to wait a long time for your cookie! it is made in a minute or less! I Love my Palmers Pizzelle Irons! Especially Love that it is made in the good ol US of A!!!!!

This iron pizzelle iron is high quality and a breeze to work with. The size of the pizzelles is smaller that the traditional size, but perfect for serving with tea or as an adornment for other desserts, like ice cream or sherbert. Also, this smaller size is easier for children to handle.I have had Teflon coated irons and they are more difficult to work with and clean. The faces on the Teflon versions do not always heat evenly. I have never had this problem with the iron versions.Cleaning the iron surfaces is easier because one can use a metal brush that one can find at any hardware store. I prefer a small brass brush. My daughters agree and have converted back to iron surfaces for their pizzelle irons. We make hundreds if not thousands of pizzelles every year for family and fundraisers, so while not professional cooks, we know what works and what doesn't!

This is the one to buy :my old pizelle iron from the early 70,s has been used for years without fail. this year it burned out and I replaced it with this product.this new iron has the same sturdy construction as the old school versions. it looks like it will last 30 + years like the old one did . DO NOT be fooled by the "made in China-no stick versions you can run to the local mall and buy for 40.00 dollars ...they will not last...Anyone who has made pizelle before knows you don't need a no- stick coating as found on the newer models .Great Made In U.S.A productBill Schaefer
