I have a new iPhone that has a Lightning connection for the headphone jack. Will the SoftSpeaker 3K connect to it? When listening to the SoftSpeaker 3K the audio is distorted or garbled. Why? Check the battery level by pressing & holding the button on the left side above the volume control. If only one light appears, replace the AAA batteries. Can the SoftSpeaker 3K amplifier stay on continuously? No. The sleep timer needs to be set to stay on for 1, 4 or 8 hours. When you press and release power button once (one red light), the sleep timer is automatically set for one hour. Press and hold the power button down to select 4 hours (two red lights) or 8 hours (three red lights). When I use the SoftSpeaker 3K with the AMP set to OFF, will the sleep timer work? No. The sleep timer only affects the amplifier when batteries are inserted. When AMP is off, the SoftSpeaker 3K uses no power. When I try changing the Tone or setting the Sleep Timer nothing seems to change. Why? The Power and the AMP needs to be ON in order to use the Tone or Sleep Timer.

I have used this model for years, it was time to replace the old one. I would recommend this model over the one without the amplifier. Good quality.

I like listening to to news and sports when I go to bed. It has a long lead to the radio and takes a couple of small batteries. I like the fact that it has a volume control and that you can press the button to have it stay on for different lengths of time.It is not high fidelity for music. It’s a soft small speaker and does the job.

My dad suggested this product when he learned that I listen to podcasts at night to fall asleep but the podcasts keep my husband up. Wish we had been gifted this product at our wedding! It is a game changer for one who wants to listen to stuff to fall asleep and not disturb others in the room.The battery also lasts WAY longer than they say! I have had the battery in since we bought it (9 months ago) and the original AAA battery is still going strong.The one caveat: You need to be a side sleeper to use it. This sits under my pillow lined directly up by my ear.

This Pillow Speaker is GREAT because you have control over the volume. When you're first starting to go to sleep, you may have it a little louder. But, as you're falling off into dreamland, it's really easy to turn it down. And, if you keep it close to your ear, it's very soft and comfortable. I always sleep so much better with my pillow speaker!

I had to replace my old radio so I decided to change the pillow speaker at the same time. The volume control is not worth the extra wire as the control range is very limited. I find it difficult to hear if the speaker is placed under my pillow but works satisfactory if placed on top of my pillow. I finally went back to my old pillow speaker as I prefer to have the speaker under my pillow.

WAS LOOKING FOR A PILLOW SPEAKER TO PLUG INTO HEADPHONE JACJ ON TV. TRIED EVERYTHING AND IT WILL NOT WORK. STARTED THE LENGTHY RETURN PROCESS, AND INSTEAD HAVE DECIDED TO THROW IT AWAY. MY TIME IS WAY MORE VALUEABLE!

My pillow is dense, and I can't hear other pillow speakers through it. I removed the flat, round speaker out if its pouch to hear it better under my pillow. This speaker has an amplifier that takes 2 AAA Batteries and makes it loud enough to hear clearly. The speaker can work with or without the little amp turned on, but, naturally, the extent of the volume changes accordingly. I recommend it.

I've had this unit for around a month now and I can say there's only a few things that I wish were different. First off is the volume. I sleep with 2 cheap pillows shoved in 1 pillowcase. When I put the speaker in between the pillows, I can hear the speaker ok. But for maximum comfort, I place the speaker under both pillows and the pillowcase. I can hear the speaker, but it is faint. Even with the amplifier turned on and my devices sound maxed out, I wish the whole thing would be a little louder. The only other issue I have is with the in-line volume/amplifier. This might just be a personal thing, but it seems upside down to me. It would feel more comfortable if the thing was wired in the other direction. I basically twist my hand in an awkward position now if I need to access the unit at anytime in the middle of the night. I can't speak for long-term usage, but as for now- if these 2 issues were fixed, it would be a perfect pillow speaker.
