This Kiso Hinoki Style Japanese Penhold is suited for "Top Spin-Minded" attack players. The blade is created from the highest class of Cypress, as it has been carefully selected to ensure maximum output. This blade as a cork methodically placed on the backside to help ensure the Japanese style grip, that favors forehand attack play. This square blade is rounded at the top edges, and comes in at 93grams, with a blade thickness at 10. 0mm. This 1-ply blade has a thickness of 163x135mm, with a handle size of 92x20mm. The blade has a reaction of 13. 6, and a reaction of 12. 9, and it will work well with Spring Sponge rubber like Dignics and Tenergy. For the Dignics and Tenergy line of rubbers the 05 has the highest trajectory, and lands the shortest distance on the table. The 80 has the second highest, and lands in the middle of the table. The 64 has the lowest trajectory, and the longest travel path landing deepest on the table. To add more grip to this blade you can get the Soft Grip Tape. It provides grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice for racket care is adding side tape to the blade. It can protect the wood in the event it is hit on the table.

It is the finest grade of Kiso Cypress, and the blade feels light and balanced. I applied Dignic 05 rubber face, which has the speed and spin I want. It's an excellent racket.
