Players looking for a dynamic spin game should consider using Dignics 09C, the newest rubber in the Dignics line. With a tacky top sheet and a harder version of Butterfly Spring Sponge X, players can generate unbelievable spin with the new technology. I'm a coach at the Santa Cruz Table Tennis Club and have been playing with this blade for years using Tenergy 05 Hard on the forehand and now Dignics on the backhand side. I have used many different Butterfly blades since I started playing in 1963. This Timo Boll Spirit has very nice control with plenty of power for looping and hitting. You can get a great feel on the ball when serving, pushing and making touch shots close to the net. I also have the Timo Boll ALC - another great feeling blade. But, with the Spirit I find that I land more balls and hit out less. So the Spirit is the blade I prefer for tournament play and I also recommend it the most to intermediate players I coach looking for a new blade for a looping game. In comparison, I recently also purchased and played with a Butterfly Viscaria blade. The Spirit has much more control and feel than the Viscaria blade in my opinion. Hope this review is helpful. Best table tennis racket I have ever buy. It is lightweight and fast for offensive. It fit my style for playing loop and fast attack. You will have to choose your rubber wisely because it might be front heavy a little bit, but over all, I am happy with the purchase. No complaint about a thing.
