This professional recovery strap is an invaluable tool to have on hand when you’re off-road, either for mud, creeks or snow, you name it. The recovery strap is the right way and the SAFEST device to use when needed to pulled out a stuck vehicle from mud, snow or sand. I remember old times when I was off-roading and the stuck vehicles were ‘rescued’ by using metal chains and steel wires that were very dangerous if the chain or wire suddenly snap, it will come right back in the direction it was stretched on. meaning a lighting fast and dangerous ‘whip’ that can injure a nearby person or create serious damage to the vehicles involved in the maneuver. The potential energy stored in a chain or cable under tension can be unbelievably dangerous.That is where the recovery strap is a lot safer and actually, more efficient to rescue a vehicle out of mud or sand, as it is made of special nylons that are designed specifically to stretch and accumulate tension (up to a point) that will be released safely helping to move the stuck vehicle. The ‘winch dampener’ is a special bag with weights to be placed over the recovery rope, so in case that the rope suddenly snatch it will fall to the soil, greatly diminishing the recoil effect in case of a rope failure.Keep in mind that a Rope like this tuned for recovery shouldn’t be used for towing, as you don’t want to tow a vehicle with a rope that can be stretched up to 30%. Always use for towing the appropriate tow ropes (Usually those flat straps which has minimum stretching properties).Overall, this is a well-priced for a quality made kinetic rope with a good length and excellent pulling rating at a claimed 34K pounds of breaking strength. This kit is well thought as also includes all necessary items to properly use a recovery rope. I think it is an excellent alternative to other more famous brands as ARB, Badlands or Rhino. I’m impressed. I’ll keep it as part of my roadside toolkit in my 4x4 truck. Highly recommended.(Reviewed by Handyman)

I purchased this as a gift for our son's 3/4 ton diesel truck. He loves the snatch capacity, the stretch and the bag that it came in and the fact that it was his favorite color was a plus. The only "complaint" is that the shackle pin is too thick to pass through the truck's bumper where the chain hooks go. Rather than drill out the hole and possibly compromise it's strength, we are going to buy another set of shackles.

It doesn't hurt to be extra cautious. I sometimes wear it as a vest and it fit mosts. The reflective stripes are great! This was worth the price to be extra safe. I would recommend and even purchase more in the near future.

Wow! This is a great set of recovery tools. Really strong and a lot to choose from. They did a really good job on them. They're strong. It looks good. Comes in a nice carrying case. Really good job on it. Excellent value for the money. The instructions are clear and simple which is the bonus if you know what I mean and I'm sure you do. I'm glad I got it
