Pros: Perfect for the recovery of 4x4 cars in desert, and strong enough to withstand weight load and pull 👍Cons: expensive price.

Wanted to wait to write a review till I had a chance to use it. I've used it twice now. I have a 4runner and have pulled out a Dodge Ram 1500 and a 2020 lifted Jeep Wrangler out of deep sand at the beach. Both did not think I could do it and they were wrong. First try pull for both. Much better than the tow rope I used to use.

Don't bother with those cheap straps pawned off as recovery straps. Once you use a quality recovery strap like this ARB, the others will seem flimsy. I've used ARB and Viking recovery gear for years and there IS a difference when compared to the "other" straps. This strap will be kinder to the recovery vehicle as there won't be a sharp shock when trying to snatch a fellow 4-wheeler out of the muck. Also, that built up kinetic energy from the stretch helps pull the stuck vehicle out.I cannot speak highly enough of ARB, and this item in particular. Deserves more than 5 stars.

This is actually the 2nd snatch strap I've biught from ARB, the 1st was the 4in monster because of my bigger n stronger than needed is better attitude but even with my 6K LB Half ton pickup I wasn't generating enough force to stretch it out and as I'm happy to have smtg that strong that I know will never break, after using this 2in I now see the benefit of the kinetic energy created when this amazing strap stretches and recoiles. Used properly it really does magically pop the stuck vehicle out with MUCH less of a brutal snap as u get with a chain of tow strap. If u off-road often or live where there's lots of snow this thing will b worth it's weight in gold. Plus for $60 after just one use it layed for itself as any off-roader knows getting rescued from the woods cost WAAAAAY more than that... Quality is fantastic, looks great, super well made, does not disappoint one bit.

This strap seems to have great build quality, and I can't wait to test it out! I have only used it once, and it was to pull a small Infiniti car out of the ditch with my 2013 Silverado 1500. The length (30') seemed to be perfect, and obviously the strap held up due to the light weight of the car. My friend drives a 1976 K1500 Chevy with open front and rear differentials, and gets stuck mudding every once in a while, so I can't wait to put this strap to the test! I definitely recommend this strap over the cheaper nylon straps that don't stretch. The 20% stretch this ARB strap has allows the tow vehicle to get some momentum to yank the stuck vehicle out. With a strap that doesn't stretch the likelihood of damaging something is high.

Used it twice with my 2009 Jeep JK and I will tell you what this thing is incredibly strong and definitely is in a league of its own when it comes to tow straps. I would recommend buying the proper recovery tow points and I would NOT recommend using your tow ball on your hitch because if the bolt breaks that tow ball becomes a heck of a projectile. I would buy some D shackles and an adapter for your hitch so you can properly fasten it to your truck while your pulling people out or vice-virsa. I have a jeep so there are multiple recovery points available for me. Also ARB makes some good videos on how to properly recover your vehicle, I think they are on their site or on Youtube - give those a look see before purchasing as well to make sure this is good for you.

A very good strap, worth its weight in gold if you are stuck. 10 times better than a chain and lots easier on your vehicle.

This ARB strap looks and feels high quality. I had never used a snatch strap before, just a standard tow strap, what a difference! The stretch of this strap reduces the hard jerk you would normally get when the strap gets tight, so you can get a lot more momentum without breaking things. My brother-in-law got his 4-door F-250 diesel in a soft spot and it sunk to the axles. He already had his tow strap hooked up when I got there, but my Tacoma could not even budge his heavy truck. We thought we were going to have to borrow a tractor, but I switched to my new snatch strap and hauled him out the first try.
