I am paraphrasing my wife's experience with wearing this for one of her feet. It has only been a little less than three months and her intermittent wearing of it at night and occasionally on days she works from home. She says that it is comfortable to wear both while awake and does not mess with her sleep either. So, it is comfortable. Adjustment of the strap to make progress over time correcting the bunion is easy to do. It seems like nice quality material. Given more time and regular use it seems like it may help, but it is too early to say. If it does work as stated, then it is more cost effective and far less painful than surgery required to repair a serious bunion. For her sake, I do hope it works as she continues to wear it.

First, I do not recommend this for foot injuries or conditions other than bunions. It’s designed for bunions and the design is targeted.That said, it can give a little immediate relief, though you probably have to play around with how tight you set it. A little tight when you put it on can become painful in a short while. Or not. Socks and shoes don’t work with it, expect to go barefoot. That can really get some looks at the neighborhood grocery or when taking a pet to see its vet. Hummph.I have been wearing mine in the evenings for about four hours, every night, just tight enough to feel tight but not painful. It helps while I wear it, but it has not altered the size or shape of my bunion. By the way, you do not get to choose which foot you want it for. Mine arrived for the left foot, which was fine, but for the life of me, I couldn’t find anywhere on the product page information about which foot it would target.

This bunion corrector is relatively comfortable to wear, the heel strap does seem to keep it in place. Yes, you can walk while wearing this but it does move around some when you do walk so it's definitely not optimum.I don't know if eventually the toe position is fully corrected and will stay or, if that can be fully achieved just how many hours per day and for how many days, weeks, months that will take but, my guess is that if you're religious about using this daily, that could well be achieved. I used it daily for a month between 1-4 hours each day and the toe position was better but, because I didn't maintain the daily use it did go back to it's previous position. I think that I'll try again once the weather is warmer and being barefoot isn't so darn cold.

I got this Simpilos Bunion Corrector because my big toe is beginning to turn towards my other toes. I’m guessing this is what they call overlapping toe. I’ve also been having really bad cramps in my feet where my toes curl & feel like they’re drawing up. I figured I’d try this bunion corrector to hopefully fix this issue.I’m not gonna lie, when I first got them, I had no clue how they went on or worked. I was trying to put the toe separator on with the bunion. corrector. It took a few tries before figuring out that they were completely separate. But when I finally got the bunion corrector on and got it tightened, I loved it. I like how it comes with two so I have one for both feet. It’s actually pretty comfortable. But I can only wear it in small doses. After about an hour and a half, I had to take it off. I’m not sure, maybe I had it too tight. To be honest, I’m not even sure how long you’re supposed to wear it or how tight you’re supposed to make it the first time you wear it. All I know is it says that it’s for all day wear. I really liked how all the straps were adjustable so I could make it fit my foot perfectly. And the silicone toe separators are really comfortable. They’re extremely bendable and flexible so they don’t hurt my toes. Plus, they’ll come in really handy when I do my toenails. It’s a little expensive, but I think it’s worth it. This is a very nice pair of feet bunion corrector that can control the angles through wire precisely. The correctors have several key points. First, it has a large silicone pad at 2x4 inches resting against the junctions between metatarsus and big toe bones. It is comfortable and effective. The second point is the precise control of the angle of the bones in big toe. They use a steel wire with a dial to turn step-by-step, precisely. When you turn the knob backward, the whole wire loose up and reset. The third point is the nice Velcro links at three positions on big toe, arch, and heel. All these links are to keep the pad-wire combination in position. It is easy to use and effective. However, since the knob for adjustment is pretty big, it is not suitable to wear a sock and therefore can only be used at home. To overcome this limitation, this product come with two silicone toe separators to be used with socks. They are nice because there is an extra padding on the metatarsal bones to reduce pain.

I have wide feet and one of them is a bit deformed which makes it wider. When I was in my 20s I wore a pair of shoes that rubbed on the side of my big toe which started a bunion. Over the years it's caused a lot of pain. In my 40s I fell and slammed my foot into a 4x4 fence pole which crushed the bunion. It was a year before I could wear regular shoes but my bunion was reduced. Part of the problem is my middle toe is very small and my big toe and 2nd toe lean into the gap. I've tried several things to try to straighten out the bunion and the 2nd toe. The last one was too painful to wear. When I saw this bunion corrector available as a free promotional I ordered it. This one has silicone to help cushion the bone. It also comes with toe separators. I put it on my foot and turned the knob, it did a pretty good job of straightening the toe. I need to figure out a way to get the 2nd toe to straighten out as well as sometimes the end of the toe pushes against the inside of shoe and it's painful. I was only able to wear it for about 30 minutes before it started hurting so I took it off. I will have to keep using it regularly to get results. I probably need surgery but after the foot injury and the long time it took to recover, I'm not ready for that. I'll update once I've used it longer but for now I think it will help
