Perfect fit. Just what I was looking for. There was a little burring that needed an extra twist so the cap would go on, but otherwise they worked just as I'd hoped.

These are a nice piece of hardware to finish a project. Look good and make exposed bolt or stud less dangerous with cap, the other possible benefit when using anti seize you will have less rusting to deal with disassembling. The packaging is not great lost one piece at Amazon distribution center I am guessing as there was only one piece floating in the shipping box and it was sealed well. This is a vine review and I only needed 12 currently so it was not a disadvantage for me, they should improve the packaging. Overall product is good threading is good finish is except able.

I got these nuts for a small stand I am bolting together...it is black so I liked the idea of black acorn nuts. They give a very nice finished look...the threads were well made and the acorn dome looks very classy..black hardware at it's best. Very well done.

They’re nuts! Not much else to say…they’re just nuts. Oh and they’re black and they’re cap/acorn nuts. What you see is what you get.I’ll see myself out now.

I ordered these to be able to attach a license plate for our car to a bracket, and I ordered them in black to blend in with the license plate bracket, which is all black. As far as acorn nuts go, these are pretty standard. They do accept a 1/4"-20 threaded bolt/machine screw just fine. Unfortunately even before I opened up the package of nuts, it was apparent that the black finish on these is not going to hold up well. You can see that all the nuts have spots of the finish worn off from where they were rattling around against each other, with lots of black flecks of finish floating around inside the container. I'm not sure what kind of finish the manufacturer used, but I have very little hope that these nuts will retain their remaining black finish for any decent length of time.Assuming the nuts are indeed made of stainless steel (they don't show any attraction to a magnet, which is a good sign, and the underside of the nut is stamped "304", which is a type/grade of stainless steel, at least they won't rust when the black finish continues to flake off.If your application is cosmetic and depends on having a full coverage, consistent black finish on the nuts, I would steer clear of these. If, however, you're okay with some cosmetic imperfections in the finish and the ultimate eventuality of the black nuts turning shiny silver, then these may usable for your application.

Nice looking acorn nuts. They arrived largely undamaged despite being all bagged together; so the coating is pretty durable. They didn't respond much to strong magnets so the stainless steel claim is likely legitimate. And they fit a 1/4-20 bolt just fine.Going to use these for some art projects that will be outside. If they rust, I'll come back and update this review.

These are high quality, smooth hex nuts. Inspecting them I could not find any flaws.The black finish seems good. Scratch testing the finish it does come off when scratched. I don't see it as a problem. Stainless steel does not need a protective coat of paint even in wet environments.Pleasing bunch of 20 acorn nuts. Current unit cost is 40 cents each when purchasing 20 which seems reasonable.
