It contains everything you need to start practicing, paper, brushes, ink, inkpot, models for tracing. Instructions included but you'll need to know how to read Chinese. That's the only wrong assumption the manufacturer made in assembling the package, which is quite affordable for the beginner. Many of us don't speak or write Chinese but want to learn the calligraphy as an art form. May be the language aspects will follow.

I ordered this kit because it has all I need when I take my class whether I am at home or on the go. I highly recommend it. Sellers are great and shipping was fast.

The quality looks good for what I need, however, everything is written in Chinese, even when you use a QR code, so I have to blindly write things without knowing what they mean. There are no directions in English either.

I got this set of Chinese calligraphy set as a display for a school event, surprisingly the set was very pretty and the quality of nice for a cheap price. I love that it came with everything that a beginner needed and the kids loved it. It is well worth including it as a cultural display and teaching students about calligraphy that didn’t break my budget. It is great to gift a beginners as the quality feel nice.

Brush quality is average, kind of easy to shed hair. The seal has no inscription. You need to find a place to do it by yourself, but it’s too hard to find in USA. Other products are good.
