Features:

Is this DC24V5A power supply (PSU) compatible with your device?

1

Please note the voltage

Please find the spec label of your device and check the working voltage. It should be DC24V, not be AC 24V or lower/higher than DC24V. Otherwise, your device will not work or be damaged.

1

Please note the max current

Check the max current your device will draw. It should be equal to or less than 5A,such as 1A,2A,3A,4A,5A. Otherwise, your device won't work well and the power supply will be damaged very soon.

1

Check the power input port of your device

Its outer diameter should be 5.5mm; inner core diameter should be 2.5mm or 2.1mm. Inner core polarity should be"+", exterior polarity should be" - ".

1

Connector Size

Conector size: 5.5mm x 2.5mm, compatible with 5.5mm x 2.1mm

1

High Quality Cable

Individual wire insulation and flexible flame -retardant PVC jacket provide you a safe and reliable cable with better conductivity

1

Broad Compatibility

Max 5A ouput means it can supply with amperage less than 5A. ---such as 1A, 2A,3A,4A,5A. If your device draws 4.5A, 4.5A will be supplied. But if draws more than 5A, only 5A will be supplied.

Used for an under cabinet LED lighting project. Tested with 24v LED strips and DMM but only using approx 1/2 rated power output of this transformer. Don’t have an O-scope for proper analysis but this product works perfectly for the project. Lighting was designed so that if the PS goes out, it can easily be changed out.

My Marine 3.0 kept turning off, and I didn't have an equivalent light to test the power supply and didn't have an equivalent power supply to test the light. The power supply sold for this light specifically is over $60. The light itself is already $200. My light is the one sold for the Flex 32.5, and I couldn't find the wattage for this light, but the slightly larger version is 46 watts, and the highest wattage I could find available for this light is 59 watts. It has been powering my light for days now without issue. It can also power a second light with a splitter, but I want the redundancy of having a second power supply, so I'll be purchasing another one of these.

Great power supply and well-priced. I used it to power rgb light strips over 300ft long. It sufficiently provided enough current and then some if needed. A+

I used the BTF-LIGHTING 24 Volt 5 Amp power brick for my under-cabinet lighting, and it works perfectly! The power supply is reliable and provides consistent power to my LED strips, ensuring they shine brightly without flickering. The build quality feels solid and durable, giving me confidence in its longevity. Installation was straightforward, making this an excellent choice for anyone looking to power their LED lighting projects. Highly recommend it!

(Edit)The seller contacted me and offered me a replacement for the device I had that failed prematurely. It arrived quickly and works fine. Overall, these things happen from time to time but having a seller who stands behind their product is great. I should have contacted them first. That said, the product did still fail prematurely so I will stand by my previous statement and leave it there but am amending my rating to account for the excellent support I received outside of normal return options.(end edit) I bought this as a power supply for a COB lighting system I built with other BTF components for a homemade lighting system for an indoor plant nursery. It is well-specified for this use and actually worked great for about two months. It was on about 18 hours per day connected to simple timer on the AC supply side. Unfortunately, it then broke, although not completely. I found the LED strips putting out very dim light as if there was barely any current available. I measured with a multimeter and found it still producing 24VDC . However, it would no longer actually drive the LED strips. As soon as I replaced it with a different power supply, the LED strips began working again with normal brightness. So, this power supply definitely failed, at least partially and is essentially just e-waste now. This is not a high end device by any means but it was not being taxed and should have lasted much longer than it did. Unfortunately, I bought the lighting components including this piece long before I had time to build the project, so by the time the failure occurred I was well past the return window. I'm probably just unlucky and got a bad one but I still can't recommend this part.
