Considered a very hardy conifer, the Juniper is a non-flowering tree that makes a great choice for bonsai because of it is so easy to prune and train. Originating from China, it is one of the most popular types of bonsai trees and is a firm favorite of many bonsai enthusiasts. The Juniper is a low growing plant, producing lush greenery and small, firm, silvery blue berries atop interesting bark that adapts well to several creative forms of Bonsai bark manipulation. This type of tree offers the choice of being able to grow it indoors or outdoors. Its compact foliage makes it one of the best candidates to become a Bonsai. Junipers grow slowly and are very long-lived. This Juniper will grow with outstanding beauty, remaining green throughout the year.
Each live plant is shipped with the Phytosanitary Certificate as required by the USDA.

just got mine, looks healthy, substantial in size, dirt is still wet, planter looks nice. really can't go wrong for 30 bucks if you want a nice houseplant.

Exactly as described. A healthy nicely shaped tree in excellent condition. Packaged very well in large box with sufficient support but with enough room around it that it wasn't crushed. It had been watered to a point that it had not dried out at all. It even arrived several days early! The box itself had some interesting information about the company as well as their contact info. They are the largest Bonsai nursery in the U.S. I'm impressed.

As a bonsai hobbyist, my wife gave me a gift card to add to our collection. I went on Amazon and ordered this Juniper for 30,00 and was blown away on how beautiful and healthy the tree was compete with a great ceramic pot for the price. The bonsai soil was sprinkled with a slow release fertilzer and was of high quality. The plant was secured safely in the box nestle in a styrofoam square which protected the pot and plant. In the photo, you will see I added a black tray (from take out food :) with black pebbles from the Dollar store. You need to keep the bonsai watered and misted with either rain or spring water. They also need to go through a dormant period in the winter, but not below 20 degrees. Also watch a ton of videos on their care and you will do fine.

This was the perfect gift to give to a plant lover!It was shipped 2 day air so I didn't have to worry about it sitting in a warehouse somewhere for too long. It was packed very secure so it couldn't move around and the pot wouldn't break if it was knocked around or dropped. The plant itself looked healthy and there was some moisture in the soil, so I know it was packed and shipped in a timely manner.

Was really thinking I was getting the light blue pot which is really the reason I bought them.. I got everything but light blue - brown and green. Otherwise it arrived in good condition but I won’t be using these where I planned and will just give them away.

I don't really like to write bad reviews but this trees doesn't worth as bonsai material. I ordered two and one is already death even after I tried so hard to save him, I can understand that the tree was under a lot of stress, so is kind of understandable that some of them doesn't make it.My complain here is about the word "bonsai" that is not present in this trees, you can not use them as a start material because they cut the main branches in order to keep a small size, this means that you will have a juniper in broom style, because you can not do anything else about the design. Is a nice little tree without any value as bonsai.
