I have several products from Brother and have always been pleased with them. The fax has not worked and it is frustrating.

In this day and age, you expect a laser fax machine to have auto duplex capability. To my surprise, when I received a 2-page fax, it printed on 2 pages instead of one page double-sided. After looking over the settings and then Googling this fax machine, I found out that this machine does not offer duplex printer of incoming faxes. That is crazy. And perhaps the description mentions this - I don't feel like checking - but even if it does, that doesn't excuse a modern laser fax machine for not having this basic functionality.If you do not care about wasting paper, this fax machine is a good machine. Just keep in mind that it cannot automatically duplex print, it doesn't offer any networking capability so you can't print to it from a phone or other device, and as it does not have a flatbed scanner you won't have the option of easily scanning things like IDs for hiring/employment purposes or similar situations. Sometimes it's just better to get a multipurpose printer that has fax capability than getting a fax machine even if you have no need for using it as a printer.

love this fax machine, but I guess I wear them out. Have to buy a new one about every 3 years. Its worth it though because when it works its great.

Acquistato come regalo per sostituire un vecchio Brother, durante l'installazione mi rendo conto che l'unica lingua dell'apparecchio è il tedesco. Peccato non vi fosse modo di saperlo al momento dell'acquisto (le caratteristiche sono riportate in inglese). Ho deciso di tenerlo scaricando il manuale in italiano dal sito, però che fatica (soprattutto per i sotto menù di configurazione). Traduttore Google alla mano ! Occhio !!
