Browning Camping and ALPS (Active Lifestyle Products and Services) OutdoorZ are dedicated to exceeding your expectations, and the ultimate chair every turkey and predator hunter has been looking for is here–the Strutter hunting chair! After years of tremendous success with our ALPS OutdoorZ Turkey Chair, the one remaining feature hunters were asking us to try to improve on was the fold-up size. Our designers and engineers were able to develop this new Strutter model, which now will fold-up and fit into a carry bag. None of the original Turkey Chair features were compromised, like sitting low to the ground, being strong & durable, and being extremely comfortable. We also added four rotating feet to the bottoms of the chair legs, to make sure it will always sit firm and solid, even on crooked terrain. When you're in the woods for hours on end, it's nice to be able to lean back and relax a little. When you're in a hurry and don't have time to put the chair back into the bag, don't fear... there's an included padded carry strap so you can just throw the chair over your shoulder and be on your way. More Comfort model features an extra-wide seat. Available in Mossy Oak Country DNA and Realtree Timber camouflage patterns.

This chair is about 150% the size and weight of the tripod style stool I've been using before this. But this chair is 300% more comfortable. Its very sturdy and the bag is unnecessary as there is this clip that holds the chair folded and a comfortable sling is built into the chair. The low height of this chair does not make it uncomfortable, even with my large frame and multiple issues. It's the perfect height to site in while working on my bike too.

Great piece of kit. Well made, comfortable and lighter in weight than I expected. The carry handle is useful.

This is worth every penny. It is super comfortable, yes it can get heavy when walking to your hunting spot. It blended in well in my hunt, I tried it in fall and in winter. It does keep you off the ground in a low profile angled back support. It is very sturdy if you dont mind carrying extra weight on a hunt. The seller delivery was on time the product is what it states I went with the XL model looking forward to using it in the summer again just to relax. If you lay back and get comfortable you may just fall asleep missing your prey lol.

I have turkey hunted w another chair exactly like this I bought locally about 4-5 years ago. I am 6’2” and about 245 lbs. it has never failed. Although other chairs have. I first bought the chair mainly for the higher quality carry strap vs all and I mean all others I have found. While there is a primos chair w the same strap the connection to the chair is weaker. I had problems w the strength if competing chairs straps. I hint hard15 full days a year. I take others w me and so I bought another chair for friends to use. It is or rather can be very quite. But it is A metal frame so some care has to be take to not bump if your close. On a slow day I can comfortably sit in the chair for hours. And I have back problems but the angle let’s me stretch out and lean. I gave my size and the regular chair is plenty big for me. My brother is a few inches taller and weighs about 270 and he finds it just right. I think the larger version may be prohibitive in the turkey woods.I saw a question about hills. That’s about the only limitation of this chair. It is reclined so too much of an angle forward and you will be siting straight up. If your facing up hill you better have a tree behind you so you don’t go over backwards. But kicking out small holes in the dirt for either the front or back legs makes it work well on terrain as long as it isn’t too steep. I would like to see connections like bungee on the back of the chair to keep it from falling off the metal upright posts that hold the seat back. But it’s easy to put in if it fell off in walking around.I would want to know these facts so I write. But truthfully I’m afraid it will bring me further competition if turkey hunters knew how comfortable these chairs are for this sport vs your vest and a tree. Setup is lengthened about 30sec to put the chair down and open it. But keeps you still for extremely long periods when it usually counts.

I don't hunt turkeys at all, in fact, but I gobble at them when I see them on the levee and they gobble back. The closest I've gotten to a turkey in this chair is Wild Turkey -- and by gosh the chair holds up.It's easy to open and set up, easy to close and pack, and supports my 165 lbs without trouble. This chair is the exact same as the REI Camp Stowaway Low Chair except it costs ten bucks less, is camo instead of black, and has a Browning stag logo embroidered on the back instead of an REI logo.I'm an REI member, but personally? I prefer the Browning stag logo and love not spending the extra ten bucks -- and although it's camo, I can always find it where I left it.It is totally comfortable, dries almost immediately if you get it wet and sits about six inches off the ground. In my opinion, it's THE PERFECT camp chair for those of us who are low to the ground -- or like to sit low to the ground.Ideal for canoe camping. The feet pivot which makes this chair idea for slightly uneven terrain -- and also allows you to rock back onto the rear legs -- sort of like those fancypants ultralight camp chairs that cost 90 bucks and fall apart the fifth time you use them... except heavier (it's not that heavy but it's not made for backpacking)... so it's ideal for sitting around a campfire emptying pressurized canisters of lager. The case is a 26 x 6 inch tube with an adjustable (non-removable) shoulder strap and drawstring closure. The folded chair is not difficult to fit into the case. The chair also has its own adjustable (removable) shoulder strap -- which seems weird -- too many shoulder straps or whatever -- but the folded chair has a velcro retaining strap attached via rivet which keeps it from flopping open if you carry it by it's own removable shoulder strap and decide to not use the case. Problem being: The case keeps the thing from getting scratched up and I like cases -- and because it's so low to the ground, the removable shoulder strap pretty much just lives in the dirt... which is bad design. So I removed the removable shoulder strap from the chair and never looked back. But then, I'm a wild (turkey) man.I love this chair.

Although this hunting chair is still very new, I've made 4 hunts with it so far and can honestly say that it is the most comfortable I've ever been while turkey hunting. Those days of sitting on my turkey vest butt pad are over. With this chair, you can sit still for hours without having to squirm around repositioning your body while waiting for turkey. Oh, and don't worry about the build quality either, this turkey chair is sturdy. The sling that comes with the seat is very well made and a must for easy transportation from spot to spot while run and gunning those toms. There are also cushions that cover the majority of the side arms of the chair itself which not only provide comfort but decrease the chances of making noises with your hunting accessories (binoculars, gun, rangefinder) once set up to call. If I'd have to find anything wrong with this chair, it would probably be that the Velcro strap that is used to assist the legs closed in the folded position will eventually either wear out or break. And that to me is an easy fix if that were to happen. One more thing, if you are as paranoid about being seen by turkey as I am, use a black marker on the shiny gold Browning emblem which will blend right in to the realtree AP pattern. Yes, I know your back will be against the emblem most of the time, but you never know, and turkeys see color very well indeed..
