Holding strap stretches then the seat moves around. I removed the original strap and put a ratchet strap in its place and it works great. The seat is wide enough and deep enough to be comfortable. Lightweight and easy to set up. The seat folds up so you can leave it. I own three of them it's a good product for the money.

So I purchased this not for sitting in, but I did test it as a seat and it worked fine - just don’t go thinking this is going to be a cheap option for a tree stand to hunt from - you’ll want both feet on the ground. This might be a nice thing to take camping and set on a tree for extra seating? The kids might enjoy it more than an adult would. A critique I would suggest would be if the adjustment screw allowed the seat to pitch up even further. With all that said, it worked perfect for my application - I am a bee keeper and used this to set a bee box on for a high tree extraction trap-out. It was nice not having to drill holes into the tree to mount the box.

I was hopeful that all the bad reviews were wrong since most of our older you would think the company could make the quick fixes that people were recommending but nope I was wrong. Absolute piece of junk. Don’tbuy it impossible to put together missing parts parts don’t lineup and all that I don’t believe it’s gonna work right even if I had it together, this is a very recent review so it’s still junk. Oh by the way the package I got look like somebody else had already returned it once.Update finally got this piece of crap together hooked up under tree and instructed sat down on it. Strap immediately broke were bold into the frame. I weigh 180 pounds. This thing is not complete garbage. It’s extremely dangerous. You would think they wouldn’t get sued and they would fix it for the price, don’t buy this

Makes hunting from the ground much better, easy to set up, and set up fast. Can easily sit all day.

Could be more secure to tree. Definitely a little wobbly. Added a ratchet strap to help secure.

Had to assemble the device, typically no problem. However the bottom support bar is poorly sized/bent out of the box. No problem since I didn't buy it for a 300lb man. I opted not to use the piece instead of reworking with a grinder. My 15 pound outdoor cat appreciates the new perch.5 out of 5 for a cat.3 out of 5 for a man.

I used this seat every day of the nine day deer season for at least 6 hours per day. Two days I was in it over 9 hours.First, this seat came with bolt/nut sizes that differed from the accompanying instructions. Both the length of the bolts and the diameters were larger than the instructions, which was strange. Kind of weird but whatever. The instructions also negated the necessary step of affixing and bolting the cross bar under the seat webbing with four bolts. This step proved difficult because the crossbar was actually too large to fit by a couple millimeters. I had to use a BFH to get it in place and in doing so scratched the frame underneath. No the end of the world but not what you expect from a new, “quality” product. It is clear the manufacturing process has some issues.Once assembled, the seat was too loose when using the included strap to hold it to the tree without moving when I sit in it. Any slight movement and it would move as well, and I would have to tighten it. It also made noise when moving which is a problem hunting. I ended up using a ratchet strap over it a little higher than the included strap to keep it tight. The seat adjustment bolt tended to loosen on its own after sitting a couple hours. But it was useful being able to slightly raise/lower the pitch of the seat. The seat was honestly bigger than it needed to be, and it would be nice if it had a strap or wire or something to hold it upright when not sitting. I left it on the same tree when not using it, and strapping it up kept snow and stuff from getting on it. I wasn’t planning on reviewing this and left the seat up at the hunting cabin or I would include photos. I would rate it higher if it wasn’t a pain to put together, had the labeled sizes for nuts and bolts, had the right sizes crossbar, and didn’t require an I included ratchet strap to stay tight. It could really use these improvements, and I would certainly not purchase again without them.
