Was excited when I pulled it out of the package, nice materials, generous padding and then I go to fit it on a standard Home Depot 5 gal pale, wasn’t haven’t it, moved on to a ACE 5 gal pale and I spent probably 20 minutes with a flat screwdriver trying to wedge it on, worrying about breaking it the whole time. Finally it’s on and I am happy with it but seriously, more than half an hour to put it on?

Was one of the cheaper options, it holds up my 180pnd ass well enough but it appears my issue with the bolt falling out and in my case into a UV curing chamber isn't rare. If I was using this anywhere outside of my home workshop I'd have pretty pissed but right now it's just an annoyance,.

When the bucket seat arrived it did not fit my Home Depot bucket, I had to put the seat, upside down, in the sun for about 45 min to soften the plastic lid, then it fit snuggly and works great now.

I bought this for a 6 gallon bucket yet the lid doesn't even lock on so I then went out and bought a 5 gallon bucket from Lowes and it doesn't fit on that bucket either. On top of that, the cushion sinks down so much that win you sit down it wont spin. After looking at the tiny screw that made it spin I went back to Lowes to buy a longer screw and yet it still doesn't spin when sitting down. I tried very hard to get this item to work out so I wouldn't have to spend more time returning it and after buying two lids and two longer screws the lid and swivel seat is completely pointless. I would like to be fully refunded for the inconvenience.

We use this bucket lid every day, rain or sunshine, or snow! it hold its softness very well. Way better than others we have tried out. only flaw is that the screw on the bottom tends to come loose and fall out. We just put the red Loctite on the bolt and so far they haven't fallen out again. other than that quality product that will keep your rear end very happy!
