I’ve used this seat approximately 8 times so far. I hunt in NJ and the temps are cooler now. The seat is very comfortable for long sits. It seems to hold body heat very well. The locking strap works well not only for holding the backrest up but for transporting as well. I do not leave the seat out in the stand so not sure how it would hold up in the elements.

Lightweight and works perfect in my stands. Could be a little thicker for ground hunting but on a stand seat it's perfect.

This seat is exactly what I needed. I've been sitting here for 5 hours now and I'm not even slightly uncomfortable. It did smell when it came originally, but anyone who isn't lazy makes sure they have all their gear hanging outside for a few weeks before hunting.

just used this for 2 days, all day sits on a hard metal ladder stand, its not soft memory foam but thick very high density foam, did not go flat and was comfortable all day, back side did not go numb and no squirming. best pad iv sat in and well worth the money.. i bought the pad and was not givin it for a review, probably buy another to keep in another stand.

First impression, it smelled VERY strongly of chemicals/rubber/plastic when it arrived. I have been airing it out for 2 weeks and it still has an odor, but it's not as strong. If you get this, air it out. -1 star for the odor.As for performance, it seems comfortable and strong. Straps should make for easy carrying with it secured around my waist. Only concern is that it might be a little slippery if seated on uneven ground leaning back against a tree, and I would have to have my butt sliding forward on this thing all day. That remains to be seen. Will have to try it on a hunt to know for sure.
