This was extremely easy to install. It's bright, and functions like it should... but lets face it, the app is less desirable. It's very slow on Bluetooth connection, and while the lighting and Bluetooth functionality is cool, it's just a giant pain to setup each time I want to use it for a shower. The sound is fine, and it's loud enough to hear over the water from the shower, but it's just not a simple click-button experience.

I installed this in about 2 minutes literally! Now my kids run to take a shower!The installation was as easy as described surprisingly. Just I clipped the old cover , unplug, then plug in the new and clip back in!I didn’t realize there is a film paper over the speaker that needs to be removed before playing music. Once I removed it, the sound was perfect! The app has a slight lag but no biggie. The best value for the money spent!

Great idea, however it’s only good for the lights. The speaker is horrible. The music distorts if you turn the volume up past a whisper. Biggest waste of money and seriously disappointing.

The first one I got was missing pieces (box looked to be smashed during shipping) the new one arrived I installed. Easy and Quick install. Given the size the audio quality was good. Similar to audio quality in a waiting room. The Led is good and brightens up the bathroom well. Haven’t messed much with the different mood colors. Tried briefly seemed cool. Bluetooth connected easily. Overall I’d say it does what it advertised and I’m content. If you think you need all kinds of heavy bass and some out of this world audio I would look somewhere else. But for the money, the quick switch out, ease of install I am happy.

I enjoy this speaker fan daily. The downside is that you have to download an app to use the various lighting customizations, but it’s easy to use. It doesn’t remember your light settings when you first turn it on - you have to re-connect to Bluetooth and open the app on your device every time. But otherwise, the speaker, fan, and light functionality work well.

I had a very old incandesant light bulb fan combo in my shower. It was old, faded and gross. I thought i would have to replace the entire thing to update it. This cover is amazing and only took 5 minutes to install, it was so easy. I took the fan down and cleaned it.l then put it back. The new cover went right on after installing the longer clips, and works great. Sound is good for the price and I love picking a dark blue to shower in, so relaxing. On white it is very bright and was a huge improvement over the bulb light.

Wish I looked this up a few years ago.. fixed all my bathroom lighting problems where I had a overhead fan with no light and vanity for light only. This replaces the grill cover over the fan, and has an adapter that the fan plugs into. It's as easy as installing a lamp on your nightstand, plus it has a built in Bluetooth speaker, which has very little bass but is nice to have!

This is a Bluetooth device And as such it is not able to be connected to Alexa or Google. You can only control it from the switch on the wall or the app on your phone. The light does not remember its last setting so when you turn it off it will always come back on at its brightest white setting. The app is terrible I see why it has a 1.8 star average. The app is very slow to connect to the light when making changes to the color or brightness. Anytime you make a change it sets the brightness to halfway. This light is really only good for people who spend a lot of time on the toilet and want to be able to change the brightness of the light or the color. Unless you leave your fan on the light loses all settings as soon as you turn it off. I tried renaming mine cuz I bought two of them at once but every time I open the app there are named the default name. I'm going to keep these cuz I think it's a good idea and at worst they're the same as the upgrades that just have a white light but at least you can control the brightness turn off the light or change its color. I really hope they work on the app because the app really sucks it's very slow and doesn't connect right away. Sometimes I have to turn the fan off and turn it right back on so the Bluetooth will be picked up.

I bought this to use in a dinky little bathroom that no one ever wanted to use because it was dark.I had installed LED light bar over the sink but it didn’t reach the back of the “L” shaped bathroom.This did the job perfectly and there’s an added bonus, the Bluetooth speaker is pretty cool; although, I would have paid the very reasonable price just for the LED light.The Bluetooth speaker isn’t high Fidelity, but it provides a good quality sound at decent volume levels, so I’m good with it.It scrolls through numerous preset color “scenes,” or you can pre-select a single color, and adjust brightness, which is pretty cool.It’s all controlled from your phone via an app you can get for free from any App Store.The install was incredibly easy, less than five minutes, no tools required, and linking device to the app wad simple too.I like them so much I’m going to buy more of my other bathrooms.I would highly recommend this; it works as advertised, is inexpensive, is easy to install, and it is pretty cool.
