The square tubes are engineering terribly. There is too much gap between them and they don't lock (or hold weight). Company provided zero customer service or solution. Product would be fine if it was designed and manufactured with any quality at all.

This hand-operable trailer was a good fit for 14' 200 inflatable boat/raft. It was easy to assemble and good quality. My only complaints are 1) there was no option to tilt the handle up or down which would have been a nice feature. I ended up modifying the handle to keep it straight and this gave me more leverage to lift the boat as I was rolling it; and 2) a front wheel under the that handle bar would have been a great feature as well. As it is, a heavy boat/raft is difficult for one person. Having to keep it lifted up enough to roll on its back wheels with a 200 lb. inflatable is quite a challenge.

We do not have the floating tire issue for whatever reason - absolutely NO complaints about this trailer to move our little boat about.

Very happy with this - although I haven't used it yet, the metal is very smooth so I am not worried about abrasion on my SIB. Wheels are large and should be able to easily handle gravol parking lots. It goes together quickly in 5 minutes. As other reviewers have noted, it does seem weird that the wheels are not suppose to get wet due to the needle bearings. But this dolly will definitely help getting the boat to the water's edge.

As a longtime dinghy sailor, after careful evaluation I purchased this dolly for moving and launching a small fiberglass sailing dinghy. The design and manufacturing quality is high and almost entirely up to expectations. Although a light structure, I expect it to handle the specified loading satisfactorily but to flex somewhat in use, which is acceptable. Being fabricated from stainless steel it definitely should be usable in seawater and I have awarded only 4 stars because, surprisingly, the enclosed usage instructions say "Keep away from water" because the needle bearings are not waterproof. In fact, they can be replaced with stainless needles by a technician, thereby making the dolly suitable for seawater. In this case a satisfactory solution was reached, but it is advisable for the supplier to replace the needles prior to sale.

Is a perfect fit for a sunfish sailboat. Easy to put together! Did all the research and just needed a basic dolley. So happy I found this for a great price.

I bought this to launch my 120 lbs peddle kayak and a heavy fibreglass canoe at a sandy lakeshore at my camp. The title says “…boat launching dolly” so you would expect it could be submerged, but the included assembly instructions say do not get the metal bearings in the wheels wet. When the trailer is in the water (keeping the bearings dry) the kayak is sitting high above the water, not close to floating. The cross straps supporting the kayak support work very well on land but it takes effort to slide the kayak off. When I push the kayak off the dolly, the hull slides off the front strap and lands on the main shaft at a junction where 2 wing nuts are positioned on top. These wing nuts gouged my kayak hull. This product is useless for my purpose, so I returned it. It took a few tries but the seller did refund me.Pros: Stainless steel welds are excellent. Very clean looking. Assembly and disassembly is very easy and quick. Fully disassembled space is less then 60” x 16” x 8”. All frame bolts have a wing nut welded to the head and the nuts are wing nuts too, so no tools required for main shaft assembly. Wheel nut needs 1 large wrench. Rolls very easy over rough terrain. Straps are strong and hold my kayak and canoe very well.Cons: Not for use submerged in water. Mid shaft connection bolts are vertical, therefore the wing nuts on top of the shaft could contact the hull when loading or unloading. Not designed to slide watercraft on or off. Fit at all 3 shaft junctions are very loose and sloppy. (Poor quality control). No amount of hand tightening the wing nuts will help. Wheels bearing spacer sleeves over axle is undersized which makes the wheels flop side to side. (Also poor quality control). Conclusion: Even with the quality control issues, this dolly would be good enough if you are transporting your craft on land only, then lift it off and put the craft in the water. It is not designed to “launch” a craft directly into the water.

This is a strange product to review. It is actually really sturdy and made with extremely hard stainless steel (high chromium content), but it shows being assembled with pins and actually came with wingnuts instead. The first time I took it out the dolly floated and I couldn't get it under the boat. The pneumatic tires float. I spent $65 on different wheels with solid tires to solve the problem. Very poor design. Not thought it at all.

Easy to assemble - easy to use. I cut the long rod 18 inches short [to 14", 6"] and re-drilled connect holes to fit smaller 7 foot inflatable with a small gas motor. [was super easy to do]. I pull my boat from my backyard across the street and down to the neighborhood beach to launch right off the trailer into there water. It is light and easy to put in and take out. Wheels are excellent. High recommend.

Great product but i wish the bolts and nut were standard not fly nuts , also the steal could be a little thicker gauge metal. I love the design it’s easy to use I converted it so i could pull it with my 4 wheeler....

Not for inflatable boats!!!!It is quite easy to put together. It takes less than 5 minutes to assemble or disassemble all of the pieces. When disassembled, It takes small amount of space.Bad design: Almost the entire weight of the inflatable boat is supported by the mere edges of the 4 stands. Since the inflatable's bottom is not rigged or hard, the grey rubber line you see in the picture that runs between the each stand does not lift the boat up. Consequently, the entire weight of the boat sits on these tiny surface area of the edges of the metal stands covered by the rubber material. When the boat sits on these 4 corners, it looks as if the boat's pantoons on each sides are poked by these edges. In reality, the inflatable boat should rest on the rubber lines and not on the edges of the support system. Hence, the distance between each side of the metal support should be about the size of the outer width or beam of the inflatable. In my case, it is almost a foot less then the outer with of the boat.I have a mercury inflatable 13' 9", 250lbs. The transom sitts about 1-2 feet away from the rubber support system. Since the transom is the heaviest part of the inflatable, it has to sit on the rubber line. However, if you line up transom with the rubber lining of the trailer, the bow sticks out. Basically it is at least 2-3 feet short for 12-13 feet boats. In other words, do not consider this if your boat is more than 10.5-11 feet longGetting out of the Water: it took one adult and 2 kids to to get the boat out off the water from the boat launch ramp, due to its incline. At 260 pounds, it is quite heavy for one person to pull it alone (I'm a big guy and couldn't do it alone. However, the difficulty is dependent on how steep the angle of the incline stands.Outting boat on trailer: Inflatable boats that has hard floorboards, need their floors installed on a flat surface. In other words, you have to lift up your boat on to the trailer after all floorboards are installed. The weight of the floorboards, increase the weight of the boat significantly.I found that it's is nearly impossible for me to do this, without significant amount of heavy-duty lifting effort and struggle on my behalf, due to the solid weight of the inflatable.
