This product worked great using 2x4 fir boards coated with spar varnish to avoid rotting wood and water absorption. There is a gap to allow the water to drain from bunks and give a great appearance! Very satisfied with the size and quality!

This was great. I just stapled it on. No need to apply adhesive unless you want a more professional job. But the stapling worked great and look great.

Bought two of these to redo the bunks on my double jet ski trailer. The carpet is good quality and works well. My only complaint is the lengths are not consistent from one roll to the next. I cut the first roll to fit almost perfect and had about 8” left over when done. Since I had extra I wasn’t as precise with the second roll, ended up being slightly short. Turns out, the first roll I used was about 9-10” longer than the second roll. I can’t complain too much, the second roll was actually the correct size, I just wish the two had been consistent, I would have been more careful on the second roll cuts.

Started out thinking I was just going to replace a couple of bunks on my pontoon boat trailer but have decided to replace all eight of the lower bunks once I got started on it. This is an easier project than I thought and this carpet is easy to use and apply. I used the 9 inch rolls on 2x4 bunks applied with staples and no mastic. I bought some plastic skid plates that I mounted on top of the carpet (actually transferred those from the previous bunks. Get pressure treated studs from your local Home Depot and some rolls of this carpet, buy some staples for your staple gun, a curved carpet knife to trim this carpet, borrow your wife's cutting board and get busy. If you think your bunks are rotten, I promise you they are worse than you think, not less. That is what I found out, anyway. If you have mysteriously lost the lag bolts that keep your bunks mounted to the support arms of your trailer, that is a sign. The wood rotted and the bolts fell out.
