This trailer took me 6 hours to put together with no power tools and a Craftsman mechanics tool set. The lock nuts make it challenging due to the fact Hand tightening parts is not possible. Overall I am pleased with the trailer and the design. However, I am going to buy a bow stop for the bow of my Oldtown 120 so I know it is fully seated and level after each use. Furthermore, I added a Malone drop roll wheel that I am fairly happy with. I added a NK180Pro and look forward to fishing bigger lakes and finally using a boat ramp. Thank You Malone for a good product. The instruction book was fairly good and the registration packet was appreciated. Overall, this trailer is pretty amazing. I recommend this product especially for large over sized kayak owners.

I’ve spent a total of 5 hours including 3 trips to the hardware store to get bolts that weren't included. The directions are extremely vague and I’m not sure they are the correct ones for this model, the bags of bolts and other hardware often don’t have what they’re supposed to. I gave up.

Took me the better part of at least 4 hours to put together. But it was really fun doing it. A few people stated they didn’t get enough nuts and bolts to put it together. I know where they are talking about. You are putting together the frame. But all the nuts and bolts are in one bag. When it comes time to add the fenders, you are out of the hardware needed. You look into the other packages that came with the frame, but none will work. So you think you’ve been short-changed, but no you haven’t. If you look in the box where the fenders come in. It has its own bag of nuts and bolts just for the fenders.I did add the Seasense PWC Jack Stand to the tongue. It’s a must add-on.The electrical was easy. It wasn’t thin wires that needed to be cut/stripped. These were insulated and cut to length with connectors already added on the wires. All you basically do is plug and play. The frame has holes on top and bottom of each frame member, so you don’t have to worry if you got it facing right or not (idiot proof).All in all. I love this trailer, and its easy to put together yourself for your kayak

I have a 12ft Hobie PA and this trailer is exactly what I needed for it. Easy to install! I had an issue with a broken board, but they immediately replaced without question. I stand by this product 100%

Perfect trailer for a large heavy kayak. Does take some skill to put together. The ground wire is a tad short, easy fix. Overall very pleased with it. It arrived faster than expected, and nothing was damaged, aside from two of the boxes being crushed during shipping. I would definitely recommend it.I have it loaded with a fully rigged Old Town autopilot 136.
Don’t waste money on this.

Trailer took a few hours to assemble. It arrived missing the fenders. I reached out to the trailer company and had them sent to me within the week. I was shocked to see that they are cheaply made out of plastic. For the amount of money this trailer was I could’ve went with a Load Rite all aluminum for the same price. Instructions were also sent for a different trailer but similar. Aside from the crap plastic fenders and the parts obnoxiously saying made in China 🤦🏻♂️it’ll do what i bought it for and lug my kayak around. If it says made in the USA, I believe the parts should be manufactured here too!

What I like about this trailer it is exactly what I needed. It took a long time to assemble but the results are amazing. Came with extensive instructions on every step of the way. The most important step is to verify the frame is square. I used only hand tools because it slowed me down and made sure every step was done properly. The results were a functional attractive trailer and came with everything you need. No extra bolts come with it so don’t lose one bolt or nut. No extras are included. Was able to easily register the trailer for license plate as all the paperwork was included. Great job Malone on a great product!
