I'm a retired Helicopter Technician and Historian, and One of My Grandson's is a Firefighter. I wanted to introduce one of my Great Grandson's to an iconic helicopter design, that greatly influenced my career in aviation! Brio World has provided a reasonable facsimile of a Bell 47 Fire Fighting Helicopter, that was perfect for my five year old Great Grandson! This toy is colorful with it's red and yellow design, and has a working winch, for those creative rescue flights ! This toy is durable enough for young children, giving them countless hours of fun!

This helicopter is typical BRIO quality and nicely made. My son loved playing with it and came up with lost of role play rescue ideas. It can be used alongside other Brio/wooden toys such as train track.The size isn't huge - it's proportionate to a Brio train, if that makes sense.It's a shame the magnet isn't a little more powerful so it could pick up and carry some of the rail accessories.The propeller spins nicely and overall it's a great toy.

This was purchased for our grandson as a completer piece for the Brio Police Station. He was "over the moon" with excitement to have received the helicopter to go with his Police Station. Wonderful sturdy toy!

Like all Brio toys, it's well designed and made. My 5 yr old grandson and 2 yr old granddaughter play with it all the time. You can see them using their imagination.

Brio produces excellent toys. If you compare Brio Trains with the popular Thomas the Train, Brio products are VASTLY SUPERIOR. This helicopter and his pilot was an instant hit! It goes well with the Fire trucks, police motorcycle, and other Brio Railway & World toys.
