My son started getting this from his aunt and uncle when he was little. Now, grown, he still enjoys getting one as a gift. They are well built toys. Love the creativity in each one!

Battery compartment in the jeep vehicle had corroded batteries, removed the batteries and cleaned the terminals, placed new batteries to get it to operate.Placed batteries in the Helicopter and the lights worked but the rotors did not work at all.Returned the item for full refund.

One of the two blades did not spin and it was easily replaced but it had the same issue. It was a birthday gift so no time to replace again, but it’s 20 years old. It’s a Hess so well made to begin with. My grandson loved it.

Great product overall. Some gaps in quality but our 2.5 year old loved it. Another highlight is that the company who sells them are committed to ensure you're satisfied - they were able to accommodate a replacement for us once a piece broke

The batteries come in the little Jeep and motorcycle. Normally that would be nice, but the lights didn’t work in the motorcycle and the batteries in the Jeep were so corroded I couldn’t change out. When I put the 2 C batteries in the helicopter, only one set of roters worked. I will be sending back; my 5 year old son was so disappointed. Overall it’s a cool toy if it all worked but I knew this when I read the other reviews and they’re stuff didn’t all work either. If you buy, you’re taking a chance some of the items won’t work.
