Restored and older cast iron gas grill. The guts were rotted out and this was the perfect replacement.Wire brushed my inside and out, replaced the gas burner and hook up, heat resistant paint on the outside and a 20+ year old grill is working better than new. They don't make cast iron grills like this anymoreOld grill as good as new. Recycle, repurpose, reuse!

I replace this about every 3 years as rust out with use.End up getting gas coming through the rust holes.Since is 10 dollars per year of use, is not a bad deal.

Be prepared for some assembly. Small hardware means difficult handling. A magnetized Phillips screwdriver solved that. Assembly was pretty straight forward. Adjusting was easy. I adjusted mine a little longer than the original burner, as my grill had the room. Be very careful with the flexible, extendable Venturi tubes. Take it slow and you’ll be fine. The fit isn’t exact for my grill- the venturi tubes are a little too close together to match the openings on the bottom of the firebox. They are flexible enough to work anyway. Again, take it slow and make small adjustments as needed. The quality is good. I expect it to rust fairly quickly. There is a stainless version. I will likely be replacing my grill with a larger one next year, so I’m not worried about rust. All in all, for the price of this item, I have a perfectly functional grill. Definitely recommended if you’re willing to be careful during assembly and installation.

We have an older grill and it hard to fine parts for it. This was delivered on time and fit perfectly. It's natural gas grill that is cemented into our patio. They don't make them anymore. So replacing that part was able to keep it working. 😃

I should update soon with a photo. I have a monster size gas grill...maybe a Sunbeam? not sure. So I adjusted my new burner to the max width. That is my size requirement for this grill. Then I "tack" welded the tubes to keep it more stable. Don't have to of course but I did.Lights nice, good flames, will get about 5 years from it then another one. But that's okay. Lots cheaper than a new grill and I could never find one this big or ...I will have to get a pic for you...

Make sure you checkout the space between the two gas lines. I ordered the first one wrong because it only had about an inch of space and I needed the 3' space to fit properly in my grill. The second one was perfect. It assembles without a thought. The gas tubes are extendable/adjustable. Take the top off your grill-turn it upside down and hose and brush it out good (it's easier with the lava rocks out of the way anyway)- set the new burner inside and connect the gas lines-rinse off your lava rock and then stack them for the best heat distribution-put the top back on and you have a new grill. Can't beat the price either. ***(It would really be nice if some of these 3rd party vendors would mail out your order when they get them rather than waiting until Friday to send it out when you could have gotten it by Friday if they would have sent it out on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday when they got the ordere...or stock some of these maybe???)

Many of the reviews on this product, I've read them, say that you need to be handy and have some tools. DON'T BUYTHIS IF YOUR NOT/DON'T! This burner assembles easily and a magnetic screw driver for the small bolts would come in handy. It is designed as a UNIVERSAL PART, which means it may or may not readily fit in your grill and some creative adjustments may be needed as it did in mine (had to cut metal to allow tubes to pass through bottom of grill). It was a hassle and it took a couple of hours to figure it all out but I had the right tools to do it and it finally worked . The installed burner works/burns fine and it seems to be a good quality product, I'd buy it again. This burner sits up on legs (the old one sat on the bottom of the grill) so the spark is not close enough to the burner to work but I'll be working to see if I can raise it and make it work correctly. I can easily lite it with a long stick. The up-side is a perfectly good older grill with a rusted out burner did not end up going to the land fill!
