Expected higher quality (thicker, better metal) but it gave me a template to get better ones made locally. These will last a bit but the part is easily manufactured and I’d rather pay for quality.

My grill tipped over in the wind and my burner tube was damaged. During the clean up I realized my flavorizer bars were rotting out as well. This was a perfect kit for me. The parts were very easy and simple to install. All parts fit my Weber Genesis Silver B perfectly and work great. Capt Moose recommends this kit for its value, correct sizing, ease of installation and perfect function.

I have two Weber grills and this is the second set I have purchased. Not because the first wore out, but because I needed to replace the original burners/bars on my second grill. I don’t think the flavorizer bars are as heavy a gauge as Weber brand, but they are stainless and holding up well on my grill after 2 years. The burners fit great, install easily, and have good heat distribution. I highly recommend.

Overall I felt instead of the quality the product was excellent. Other reviews had stayed that the flavor bars seemed thin. all they worth dinner then the porcelain coated metal ones that originally came with it, I felt as though they were substantial. The burners were solid and look to be of excellent quality. My biggest qualm was that:A. there were no instructions of any kind in the package. This is not a big deal as you can look it up on YouTube and figure it out pretty easily and probably better than you could with paper directions. It just seems as though they could have easily slipped a piece of paper with some instructions on it into the packaging.B. I feel as though I'm being a little bit whiny about this but they did not come with the screws to secure the forward and back burners. Hey my particular case I'm on my third set of burners and the screws had completely rusted through. Fortunately I was able to get them out but seeing if that did not have a replacement set, I now have to go and try to match them blindly at the store. It would have been nice had they been included with the burners.

Overview:I have a Weber Genesis 1000 and these tubes were a perfect fit. Very high quality finish and fit on all parts. Only difference from OEM that I could tell was that the burner holes are round instead of rectangular slits and the center tube has holes on the top vice side. This shouldn’t be an issue with clogging since my grill has flavorizer bars that completely cover the middle tube but may be an issue if your grill doesn’t. The price for these are what makes them superior. Less than half the price of Weber tubes. Installation was easy despite not coming with instructions. The only possible way to install incorrectly is the placement of the center tube. I included a photo to show the proper relationship between the cross bar and this tube. Install the cross bar with the mounting tab below the bar so that the center tube inserts below the burner holes on the cross bar. This will ensure smooth lighting of the center tube. Once installed, I checked for ease of lighting and even burn. I had heard of non-OEM tubes not burning as hot, but after a few minutes on high, my grill thermometer was about 465F which is where it was with the Weber tubes. Time will tell if these last as long as the originals, but as long as it lasts at least half as long they are a good buy since installation is so easy. Tubes came securely wrapped in cardboard placed inside a cardboard box.Overall Recommendation:I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this product.I paid full price for this product. My reviews are honest and reflect my opinion on the product based on the advertised price regardless of the price I actually paid.If after extended use, there are any significant changes or the product fails to perform as expected, I will update my review.Thank you for taking the time to read my review and feel free to ask any questions.
